Wow - great pic and awesome destination!

I have been transitioning off of NS food but still try my best to follow the plan without being too OCD about it. I continue to log most of my food to keep w/in my calorie budget (1200 - 1500). I'm looking for healthy alternatives but am conscience of making sure I keep getting my veggies. I do still try and have…

OK....meant to post this last weekend but my week ended up being FUBAR in a major way. More on that later. This is a pic I took while in Zurich at the Zurich National Museum. I've decided the guy that wore this ?outfit? had to be (a) very self assured, (b) was likely very narcissistic (c) was in love with and proud of his…

Yep, my thoughts EXACTLY! I log my food in another app but I come here for the social aspect. This group ROCKS!

This pic I call "HeidiLand". I took it from the bus as we literally travel into the land of the famed Heidi. And, I finally found out about cow bells! That may have been the highlight of my vacation. When Ted and I were in Austria 2 years ago the hotel where we stayed was near a morning grazing spot for cows. I would hear…

Congrats!! What a wonderful feeling! WTG!!!

OK folks, I'm getting to the end of my favorite vacation pics! This is a picture from Uetilberg outside of Zurich. The lake is Lake Zurich. This is one of the highest points/vistas in the area. We took a train from city central to Uetilberg and then had to walk the rest of the way to get to the top. And then, there was a…

OK history buffs. This pic is the remains of the famed "Bridge at Remagen" from WW II. Both sides of the Rhine have remaining pillars of the bridge that was so vital to the success of winning the war with Hitler. It looks like it would have been a beautiful bridge in its time and I was so happy to have been able to see…

Here's a pic of Ted and I in Riquewihr, Germany. Riquewihr is a tiny 16th century city more or less "frozen in time". It's surrounded by vineyards and has two walls to protect it from "the bad guys". It escaped without being undamaged in WW II. It's a easy little hamlet to walk in. After our walking tour Ted and I stop for…

Here's a picture from our trip to Europe. This one is in Zurich.

I'd record your exercise in your food notes for the day. That way it won't adjust your calories.

Yep....everyone!

So happy with getting to 20# (20.8 to be exact) with today's 1# additional weight loss. I found it interesting that when I updated my weight on NuMi (to claim my 20# bear) it redirected me to the NS site! Talk about going around the mulberry bush (wow, I guess I"m dating myself with that old saying). Anyway it's a great…

I totally agree with that!

I'm Sue from SC - tobefitJen and I live really close and nearly in the same town although we've never met in person. I've been on NS since mid January (I wasn't going to make a resolution to loose weight). As of this morning, I've lost 20 lbs (my official WI day isn't until Sunday). I love the new "family" I've made on…

I track my food on LoseIt! I was tracking on NS for the same reason you were but since I've kinda figured the program out, I feel confident enough to cut that cord. I'm on MFP for the social experience since I have been on LoseIt! for a long time and have all my historical data there and didn't want to change. I would log…

That made me laugh. Way to be honest! I've really missed my nightly glass of wine (well maybe 2 since we're being totally honest here). In 12 weeks on the program, I've only allowed myself 2 total glasses. So that averages to 1 glass per 6 weeks. And you with that turkey burger......I think NS must have been successful in…

Great idea!!

Great to see you Suzi!

OMG....this is one "wild and crazy" group! I love it!

I recently joined a gym. I do cardio 4 times a week (mainly the treadmill running a fast walking) for a hour each time and weight training 2 x a week for about 45 minutes each time. It's working well for me and the gym is 4.5632 minutes from work!

Hello everyone. So glad we have a place to connect!
