  • Yes, but they say you will lose more weight eating that way (faster metabolism yada yada). The reason for 3 meals here is to cut down on the amount of food you eat. (That is, cut down on calories).

  • That's why I added the usda myplate rule. If you fill half the plate with non starchy veggies then you can't screw it up too far, well, me at least.

  • The idea is that you will automatically eat healthier filling meals because you only get to eat 3 a day. That's what the creator intended.
  • You can eat anything as long as it's just 3 physical plates of food a day. It's not restricting food, it's restricting quantity. You can have sweets snacks and seconds on s days (special, sick, Saturday and Sunday), as long as it's still reasonable portions.

  • 3 times a day. NoSnacks, NoSeconds, NoSweets, except sometimes on days that start with S. ;) (I do the NoS diet) So I make sure my 3 meals are filing enough and delicious enough to carry me through to the next.

  • Not necessarily, but typically. At least that's what my doctor told me I needed. I think I drink way too much water so what little salt I have I flush out of my system. Hope the salty snack helps you. :)

  • Depends from person to person. Personally I eat before I work out otherwise I feel like I can't get through it. I just eat a medium sized breakfast so that I don't get sick while exercising hehehe.
