  • Anyone on here also given up dairy? I've heard it can be helpful...but really think I'd struggle to get anywhere near my calories without it...i often have to use custard to top up...and based on how I've felt since giving up the high GI carbs and generally cutting my carbs right down I'm not sure where I'd get the…

  • I have pcos diagnosed at 14 now 25. I've recently found low gi has really helped me (apparently the testosterone which causes acne, hair growth etc is testosterone based and triggered by excesses of insulin so controlling blood sugars apparently helps) feel free to add me and ask any questions and I'll try to help.

  • Lexi here. First diagnosed at 14, now 11 years and I don't know how much heavier I've decided I'm taking my body back (or at least look after it a bit better?) I'm having quite a bit of luck so far with low gi. Would love for people to add me to share tips and motivate each other :)
  • Hey :) it sucks when following all of the instructions doesn't work. Have you managed to find something which works for you yet? I'm assuming you're insulin resistant based on the metformin and sugars comments from your doctor. You may benefit from low GI? feel free to add/message me to chat?x

  • Hi Everyone, Originally diagnosed over 10 years ago it's taken me this long to believe my diet could actually be an issue as I've never eaten unhealthily and have always been fairly active (even recently I'm not too bad...considering I have a desk job I often hit my goal of 10000 steps a day - unfortunately I seem to have…

  • 216 lb starting weight and 5'8" my main motivation came from logging what I ate... so I have known for a very long time that I need to change my eating for health reasons (PCOS and migraine to main the two main issues) - a friend had just lost a lot of weight using a calorie counting method...so I figured I'd give it a go…
