My son eats what i eat and its really helped him slim down too...occasionally i will make him something else ex..if im having fish ill make him a steak ,potatos and green beans.

From my experience it was hard for me to eat when i started mfp because i didnt eat a bunch but i drank at least 1500 calories a day in pop and high calorie coffee drinks so add that with the little bit i did eat put me over calories everyday for years...with that being said i had to force myself to eat meals and it was a…

I agree with weighing everything..example: yesterday i looked at an apple and thought hey this is a medium apple but i weighed it and it was 160 g which is twice the calories i would of logged it as..youd be surprised .i picked up my scale for 15 bucks at walmart best thing i bought myself ever.

Not sure what the question is here but depending on what you want it for..advice ive seen on here at least 3 times a week is hrm is for steady state cardio and wont give an accurate burn for hiit or lifting .hope this helps.

Depending on your stats 1200 cal may not be enough...i tried it for a couple weeks and was fine until i started exercising and found it wasnt enough for me snd my activity level. You can try it and see how you do and adjust accordingly..good luck.

You can start out with a bodyweight program ..bodybuilding.com has some..i started on with body weight bit switched over to stronglifts 5x5 ..you can try strong lifts, nwolfw,strong curves..there are several beginner programs you can try..i found it was better to start with a beginner program.

Im 40,5'4,and 190 lbs... Im currently at 1430 cal. A day but im thinking i need to up my calories to 1600.cal on lifting days.

I was going to get ahrm and asked some questions and was told hrm are for steady state cardio. You can log your stength training in cardio under strength /weight training but the calorie burn eont be accurate.

I have a vivofit 2..you can sync the garmin connect to mfp by going into devices /apps on mfp app..but only manually log none step exercises into mfp and make sure you use the right time so the garmin will take that time out when sync.hope this helps.

I agree thr workout dvds do get boring i fit in insanity videos here and there and find somebody in the video to compete with to make it more interesting sometimes lol..but i notice i wokout harder with guidance than on my own.

I agree weighted hip thrusts ..look into strong curves im probably not supposed to say this here but you can find the worksheet downloads online but im sure the book is better to get.

I wasnt losing any weight until i started lifting . i started out on 1200 calories.now i lift and eat more 1430 on non lift days 1600-1700 on lift days..i love lifting! Give it a try you wont be disappointed...btw i started out by going to the gym doing my own thing which was a waste of time..someone suggested stronglifts…
