I think most of my friends quit, feel free to add me.

I'm pretty sure 90%+ of my mfp pals have quit, need more keto buddies!

Way to go, Havingfun!!!!!

I completely blanked out and forgot what day it was and missed my fast day. I held true to no A.S. and was ultra low carb the past few days. Since this experiment started, I'm on a 19/5 IF eating schedule without trying. Results are below in week.day (W.D). 2.4 (Last Water fast day) /0.0 2.5/ 0.0 2.6/-1 2.7/0.0 3.1/-0.8…

My BF is 55/ 6'-0"/ 180 lbs. Lean and strong but no visible "muscles". Size 32/33 jeans, if that helps. He dropped to 170 last month fighting fires and his ribs were showing. Are you muscular at all? When I was in college, at 180lbs, I was a size 7/8. For a 5'9" female, I thought that was unheard of. My legs were muscular…

I take 400mg of Chelated MG every evening, like clockwork. I may do one more week and see how it goes (not that there's much of a difference 6 out of 7 days for me), but in these 2 weeks, I've purged almost all of my stevia/As usage, and now addressing my HWC consumption. After coming off the fast day, I'm not hungry until…

That's so wonderful having fun!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!

I found that in the 2 weeks of following The Recipe, I've naturally fallen into a 19/5 feed bag window now.

EDIT- I'm now running a fever. Interesting, since I haven't left the homestead or been around anyone else for 8 days now. Starting to live like the Unibomber, LOL! Yesterday was Week 2 's Fast Day. Since I lost week over the weekend, I included the end of last week in the results. Felt like crap all day. Not hungry, but…

Exercise. "Any exercise that "makes you sore" damages your cells. The bodies response will be water retention. Water is a big part of the healing process. So, all you people out there that do a lot of exercise that makes you sore ~ a day or two ~ BEFORE your weigh-in ~ are doing it WRONG. That's why I stress the timing of…

More Water, less salt. Copy. Yeah, I say Ugh. Maybe I have to start logging my homesteading activities on a regular basis. Earlier in my Keto journey, I felt drained at 1200 cals and trying to work this homestead. Maybe now that i'm Keto adapted I can handle it. I don't think anything is a magic bullet, what i'm hoping…

I'd say a 6, easy. Normally a 1

Responses in Bold , Part2. BTW- Urine on Fast day was DEFINITELY yellow. I usually run Clean, Clear and Copious. OK, I thought of some more stuff. I looked at your diary and it was stellar. I'm thinking you are retaining water. For next fast day, do this to eliminate "water retention" elements in your "recipe": 1) Salt.…

My responses are in Bold. So, your timing in relation to the fast and weigh-in is: You started the fast at 5pm 9/8 Yup! The next day you didn't eat. Correct, not one bite of anything. The next morning, (at 6:00 am this morning) you weighed in, and had no loss? Or did you drink the water then do the weigh-in? Weighed First,…

Ok, as I stated in the other thread, 09/09 was my fast day, stopped eating at 5pm on 09/08, making it a 37hr fast (just had water at 6am). No problems with feeling hungry, but I got REALLY thirsty around 5pm, and by bedtime it was driving me crazy, but i held at 10-8oz. glasses. Now my lips are really chapped and i'm…

I fasted yesterday, last meal was 5pm on the 8th. I stayed true and had water and an 8oz cup of black coffee late morning. Posting in the Results thread.

Looks like I follow the "normal" keto (1-3,7) days anyway, so i'll make tomorrow my fast day. That will correspond to Hillbilly shoppin' day for resupply. I will have to drop my water as I usually drink 12-16, looks like less runs to the spring! Weighed myself this morning and wrote it down.

Looks great for a quick meal, although no microwaves allowed at the cabin, LOL! I've been making a full size crust molded from browned ground meat and cheese, adding toppings, and throwing the pie on the grill to bake.
-
Good question on the coffee. I can stick with tea no problemo, but I do enjoy a STRONG cup of Finlander coffee once a day.
-
Sounds good. I only shop once a month, which will be this week, so there will be a clear schedule.
-
Copy. All those criteria are already met.
-
Copy. 1)- Check 2.) I could arrange my homesteading regimen to reserve intense activity once a week (usually chopping wood) 3.) Check 4.) Check- already do faithfully. 5.) Check, I've fasted before (seasonally) 6.) Check

Makes sense. As long as the materials are easily available at a podunk hillbilly market or using the the homegrown/raised items i have, it shouldn't be a problemo.

Snowshoeing, Snowboarding, XC skiing for me. Fortunately my backyard is a 1.5 million acre Wilderness.

Ok, for KISS I'm refocusing on DIY. At LEAST once a week, hopefully more, i'll do or make one thing that I've slacked on the past 6 months and bought (i.e. soap, sausage, dressing mixes, blah, blah, blah). Get back to basics. As far as eating, if my Great-grandmother didn't know what it was, i'm not eating it.

Ice Cream! I'd even bike to the store and buy a 1/2 gallon, then dish it out over a few hours, consuming the whole carton before my boyfriend got home. And if we had some ice cream already in the house, I'd eat it, then I'd buy the same kind and eat to the same point and put it back in the freezer.

The past 2 weeks, I've had to turn wildland firefighter and noticed even going full tilt boogie more many hours I had energy all day, even eating a normal caloric amount when we got food, as long as I was hydrated. But my macros are 85f/10p/5c.

I rent fat bikes, too much coin to buy for my local area use. In Park City, I rode some of the trails in winter and felt like I was dragging a concrete anchor. Around here I just ride studded tires.

My high was not expecting to lose anything (my weight loss is fairly predictable) after a nice whoosh week, but dropping 1.4lbs and 1.5" off my waist and hips.
