You are doing great - stay the course and stay strong!

Hi - you are doing it the right way. Slow and steady is best. People do notice, but they tend to keep to themselves until it is really obvious. It is a marathon - lifelong lol. Stay strong and stay on course.

I hear you and ditto here. A 35 lb loss, then slowly gained 15 back in 3 years. Loss and maintenance are definitely tied to daily tracking and weighing for me personally. Plus, I kept moving the "maintenance range" goalpost as I gained - and that does not work. I need to make daily tracking a part of my life. Currently,…

Congratulations on your big success - that is such an accomplishment. Stay strong one day at a time.

What an inspiring success story - it shows it's a journey not a race. Keep on smiling and stay strong!

You are a true inspiration. I like how you substitute better choices for your favorite things. That takes discipline. You look very happy and nothing can stop you. Stay strong!

Hi all, in response to Nadiamayl shaking the blues.... my tip is to slow down the loss to micro goals until you are out of it. So, instead of .5 a week - try .5 for the "blues" month or .1 loss for the week. If you overshoot, then great. If not, you are still a success and it was planned out. If you didn't reach it, no big…

Hi CheerMom and others, maybe we can try .5 lb goals each week. The last 15/regain 15 is so hard to lose because it seems like a cheat meal or weekend won't really make a big difference overall. But, it does. There will always be a birthday, wedding, holiday or a stressful/low activity day that gets the eating going off…

Hi, I would love to join. Need a little support (or a lot) to get over this stall. Have issues with doing well all day and then getting anxious at night after dinner. One of teens is playing video games instead of homework, and it just really ticks me off. Can't turn off internet because the other needs for assignments.…

You are an inspiration to us all. Stay strong!

You look great! Congrats on all you have already done. The set back is just temporary - go back to logging and try to look at what you did to get you towards your goal. One lb at a time. Stay strong.

Agree with everyone. Get back to what worked, and it will sort itself out. Water weight comes and goes fast. Good luck with wedding plans.

You are an inspiration to us all. It's not easy with a little one to focus on your weight goals, but you are doing it and it looks great.

Thank you for sharing your inspiring story. Congrats!

I find that if I schedule it online at the gym or with a friend, I keep the appointment. Otherwise, I can always come up with a good excuse not to work out.

It's really neat that you are good with the numbers. That takes a lot of time, but you are good at it and it shows a lot of passion for your weight loss journey. It does really help to keep things in perspective when you know your own body and how it reacts to a higher calorie day or working out, etc. Thank you for sharing…

Very detailed - congrats to you! Great job on all the resources.

Me: 8 Lns: 7 I'm impressed with you ladies. I just cannot break the habit :).

Me: 8 Lns: 6 I should probably move back the no snacking to about 9 pm. I could probably stick with that.

I have found that my new fitness tracker overestimates the calorie burn, so I had to tweak my height to get it to be more in line with my real calorie burn. That said, overall, my activity level has decreased from age 55 to 58 because I am less involved in daily activities such as clothes shopping and school socializing…
