I'm way too lazy to exercise. Which is really unhealthy, I know. But yeah, I've lost 10kg just through diet alone - sticking to calories. I still eat all the things I ate before. Just less of them.

Go slowly. Take it slow, change your habits so they will last you a lifetime. Best of luck!

Cereal really got me! I discovered I was eating 2 or 3 times the actual portion size - and that a lot of them have more sugar than you think! (Not that I'm particularly watching my sugar, was just something I'd not realised.)

I found working my way down slowly rather than hitting 1200 straight away really helped! I tried on 1200 and was getting light headed, dizzy, sick etc. So I just kinda worked my way down towards that. It was much easier and as my body got used to it - no more sickness/lack of energy etc. Cravings dropped off too! Don't…

Oh wow, I've threw my hips and back out a few times while asleep and never figured out how! I wonder if this is why! I'll mention it to my osteopath next time. I feel your pain!

Very helpful! Good job, I like it, thank you!

I have medication every day for reflux and it's definitely not a fun thing to have, I know. The burping might be due to the acid coming up, I get hiccups from it. Perhaps you should slowly reduce your portion sizes? That might also help with the uncomfortably hungry feeling as you adjust more slowly? Also, have you changed…

If I know I've only got a little while longer before bed, I have a piece of sugar free gum. Tides me over until bedtime.

I've just recovered from being sick for over a week - like yourself I was eating only perhaps 900-1000 cals per day and I lost about 1kg. I've now put about half of that back on in a few days, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly water weight. So I wouldn't worry too much if you do put it back on.

Nice link, thank you! :)

Is it any particular sort of protein? I have acid reflux too and have been on meds for years now. I find that chicken and turkey are the most easily digestible for me. Might just be you need to identify the right meat for you! Yoghurt is my other major protein source. Edit: I missed where you said almonds - perhaps nuts…

30g Oatibix flakes, dry. Trust me you don't want a picture of that. Very depressing lol

I say... have the pizza! Just pick the right portion size to fit your meal plan for the day! I'm eating 1200 (ish) a day and I've just finished half of a vegetable supreme pizza. It was an Asda (Walmart) fresh one from their pizza counter but it's less than 500 cals for half a pizza. I'm happy to work that into my…

If you use the computer at a lot in the evening/night, look for a program called f.lux. You set your location and it changes the colour hue of your screen as the sun sets. Blue ranges of light are supposed to keep you awake and more orange/reds are supposed to be more soothing/help you sleep. It's weird when you first…

My lazy meal last night (I cooked a large batch so I could take half to work for lunch) was the following: Turkey mince Mixed bell peppers (frozen) Broccoli (frozen) Sushi rice The sushi rice went into the rice cooker (but boil in the bag rice is super easy too) which just does its thing. The hardest part there is rinsing…

Well I'm not sure about recipies, but I do know that bananas are pretty high in potassium! Dates too. So perhaps a fruit salad with banana and date might up your potassium intake :)

Congratulations on your great loss! I hope it continues for you, well done!

@TheOwlhouseDesigns , they look really good! I definitely need to make some changes to my diet. Starting slow as I'm only really in my first month still, so it's hard work slowly shifting my diet around to something more healthy. But for the better in the end!

I have exactly the same problem, I find I'm almost always over my calorie goal (1200 for me) and I'm still getting hungry to the point where it physically hurts and the headaches kick in. Sugar free gum helps me a bit. Flavoured ones can be good if you find yourself craving sweet things.

Maybe a mini babybel or some cheese strings? They're fairly low calorie. Or perhaps a little yoghurt?

I tend to feel bad, but I'm usually still under what my maintenance calories would be, so I try to comfort myself that it's still a loss. If it's over maintenance cals, then I do get pretty sad though.
