Here are some other suggestions: -- Gradually wean yourself to have lower calories. Say you're eating 2600 now, do 2500 for the rest of the week. Then 2400 the week after. Then 2300. BMI isn't a percentage! BMI = ( Weight in Kilograms / ( Height in Meters x Height in Meters ) ) It isn't a percentage of anything, it is just a number. So don't look at the BMI chart for BF%.

Think of ramen noodles -- the serving portion is for 1/2 the package, but how are you supposed to break up the noodles before cooking it evenly? Or drink 8oz of your 12oz pepsi? It will make it probably easier to take the entire package and divide by 2 or scale down for however much you're eating!
