You can add me too!

I now have just one pair of dress slacks that fit right. All the others a bunching up under my belt that's out of holes. Need to donate and buy some new ones.

Wow, I think I'll not post any more questions here. Stirs up too much.

I've been at same weight level for a couple of weeks. Alway at or slightly below calorie goal everyday. It's just difficult to watch the sodium levels. It's in EVERYTHING it seems. So, there's possibly some water retention due to the salt. I want to lose that 2# every week, just like clockwork.
-
Great job mogobam!! Proud for you! B)
-
Well, I'm a loooong way from goal (60 pounds).
-
I haven't changed my weekly desired loss amount of 2#.

I thought it was kinda strange too. Prior to weighing this morning my daily goal was 1480. When I entered my new weight the daily went to 1500. I'm on a roll and don't want to mess up by suddenly messing up what's been working.

I'll have a lite beer every now and then, as long as it fits into my daily goal. No point in complete denial is my thought.

I started out weighing only once a week, but sometimes for me that can be a downer. Example: weighed on a Monday, the following Monday had gained 1.5, but then on Wednesday had lost that gain plus another half pound. So, maybe every other day just to stay "aware" of what's going on or whatever you are comfortable with.

Hey Sam - I've been on MFP for about a month now, six weeks total. Congrats on your newest arrival! You can do it, I know you can. I say "I can do anything - one day at a time.".
-
I'm new here . . . didn't know what a NSV was, so I looked around and figured it out. I've been watching what I eat for about 6 weeks and on MFP for 4. Last Monday I had lost 6 lbs so far. Today I just felt "skinnier" and was able to fasten my belt on the last hole. That's a total of 4 notches so far and my slacks are…
-
Sorry, but what the heck is NSV? I'm new here . . .

My daily is 1480. I try to break into 3rds each meal for balance and usually under the 493 average to leave room for afternoon snack or something before 8pm if I feel I could use it. I try not to eat anything after 8 pm. Thanks everyone! Till

Good stuff. Thanks.

One thing I have to watch are the foods high in sodium. They tend to make me retain water. Yesterday I eliminated all salt for one day and drank around 80 ounces of water. Scaled this morning and had a 3.5 lb loss. Never give up - Never give in. It's a journey.

I love peanut butter, but I'm sure there's a more healthy alternative.

More More like 85

I try. But like right now I have 657 left today and not hungry at all.

Yes and bar code serving sizes.
-
I generally try for 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 leaving room for snack fruits or nuts. Lately though I'm not really hungry at all, I eat anyway. Till

Yes

About 5 weeks.

I'm right there with you! Our goals are similar. Some days are harder than others it seems for me, but I try to keep my eyes on the prize. What a great feeling it's going to be to walk into a store and buy clothes that look and feel great right off the shelf! I'm thinking about those size 36 jeans myself. YOU CAN DO IT!!…

I don't mind a walk with man's best friend. I know it's good for him and me, but 95+ degrees out right now, uhmm, NO! And the gym is full of "monkey men" grunting and huffing for the ladies - puleeeze. Thanks for all the words of wisdom and encouragement. Till

Thanks for all the responses. I appreciate it! I weigh one time a week, Mondays after bathroom, before breakfast and shower. Today 257. I'm a guy, 5'11", 61 yrs old and would like to lose the max of 2 lbs per week. I'll invest in a digital scale today.

I haven't been weighing portions. I need to do that. Everything else I use the bar code information within the app. I got a friend who is dropping weight like crazy on the HCG plan, but who wouldn't on 500 calls a day? I don't think that's healthy. Our bodies need fuel to operate correctly. Right - Wrong?

Don't waste your money on it.
