Used to love eggs, got covid in October and now I can't stomach them, no idea why.

Every time I think I got it kicked I fall right back off the wagon

This sounds like a pretty good plan, I may borrow it to try to cure my coke addiction. I've tried the diet versions and the sugar frees, the carbonated waters and nothing sticks.

That's freaking awesome. My blood sugar too tends to stay near 300 and I absolutely won't do maintenance medications. So your story gives me hope and motivation.

I'm sure that chili is delicious but it looks like it's been eaten once already

I've had issues, I just gave up and enter my steps manually. Weird thing is it still records other workouts, just not steps

That would probably work good, no sharp turns, that was what did me in. I know there is at least 1 video on youtube, I think it's a bit cartoony though. I just picked up Fit XR for the quest 2 and it completely kicked my *kitten*.

I tried using a Oculus go for VR biking videos on the exercise bike thinking it would keep me motivated. I got motion sick, and dam near flipped the bike leaning to one side when they made tight turns, couldn't help myself, felt real. I found just watching music videos on the youtube app worked better to keep me on the…

Just got my Quest this morning. Bought it specifically for Thrill of the Fight but probably won't have a chance to give that game a try till the weekend. Gave beat saber free demo a try and that was significantly more fun than I thought it would be, might give Fit XR a try. Wish there was a demo for that one

There is a guy on youtube who post battle rope workouts. He's even got vids on substituting a bed sheet for a rope and most moves can be modified to do seated. It would be a simple search and might be worth your time

I was on it for a little while, only issue I had was that when I had to go, I HAD to go, there was no waiting.

It is so easy to blow a weeks worth of hard work with a single weekend. I do it all the time

I make beautiful plans that go straight out the window when my alarm clock goes off

I was gonna say the exact same thing in reverse order

I'm kinda in the same boat. 6'1", 45, always right around 300lbs, also goal of about 250lbs, started out at 368lbs. My girlfriend is also a little bigger so we have a bad habit of sabotaging each other unintentionally. Pieced together a decent home gym that mostly collects dust. Nothing like spinal surgery, but I'm type 2…

All my omelettes end up as scrambled eggs anyway

Even if you're not meeting your targets, if you keep logging you'll get a better picture of how you falling short and how to fix it. Sometimes it's good to get a better picture of what you're doing wrong.

Reese's peanut butter cups. No discipline, especially around Easter with peanut butter eggs. The big cups are almost as bad. It is not uncommon for me to eat an entire 6 pack of big cups when I fall of the wagon

Got my first stripe on my white belt in jiu-jitsu. Not much of an accomplishment, I mean essentially it just means I'm showing up, but hey, I've been showing up. Finished moving, and got my garage gym started.

Thank you all for the tips, the flexibility does seem to be coming along a bit the longer I go, and hopefully with warmer weather I can do more work on my own.

My name is Jim, I'm 44 and just started BJJ because apparently I needed a reminder as to how old and out of shape I really am.

I used to go over 5000 quite a bit when I first started logging. Used to have a bad soda problem, and that adds up real quick. I still hit 4000 quite a lot, but usually my steps even it back out.

Diet Dr Pepper doesn't taste bad. The switch should be easy. Diet Dr Pepper and Diet A&W are so close to the full calorie versions, you'll probably hardly notice. They are the only ones I can drink.

I didn't make any progress for a long time. I spent a good while just getting used to tracking, and making that a habit, and seeing what was really hurting me. The scale just recently started moving, but now that it is moving it is moving pretty consistently.

I've just started trying the mason jar route, so far I don't care for it. It's too deep for my fork.

I didn't eat much zucchini before I got a spiralizer, so I gave it a try. Weird thing is I hardly use the thing now, but it has got me hooked on zucchini. I'd just rather dice it or cut it into planks for the grill but now I eat it all the time.

I can answer question one, there are a bunch of diabetics on this sight, myself included. I have no idea about the recipes though.
