What are you currently eating?
-
I see that your diary is not made public. Feel free to add me as a friend and let me see what you're eating. It's also what you eat and when you eat it that counts too.
-
I know what you mean. Especially when you erroneously think "I will just exercise more to counter the excessive eating only to realise it will require around 2km of running to burn off a banana. :)

I'm going on my first cruise next month and have been working hard to get ripped for it. It's good to have an event/date to work towards. I will bring my L-Carnitine and HMB supps and as I follow intermittent fasting, I will also be doing it on the cruise. I will also hit the gym a couple of times a day before I have…

You can do it! I have added you :)
-
You've shown up. You're on your way there!
-
Yep add me. I'm here to inspire and be inspired :)
-
Welcome! You can do it! Feel free to add me.

In my simplistic opinion, willpower is something you consciously think about and it tends to be something that is limited, just like the op said. Discipline is something you don't even think about like brushing your teeth every morning without even thinking about it. But my point is, when you don't feel like exercising…

In my opinion, forget willpower. You can't reply on it. You can't even rely on motivation. Rely on DISCIPLINE which means you do something even if you don't feel it. DISCIPLINE is what will move you forward in the long run. Don't feel like getting up to run when you said to yourself the night before you will? Do it anyway.…

That's the key - reintroduce them when the time is right. :)

It might be OK if you are really going to be able to stop yourself but why play dice with the devil? And don't forget - it's not just about how much weight you lose but about improving your overall health and working towards better habits.
-
I've added you all :)
-
Make a decision right now you're going to do it. Start walking and start cleaning up your diet. Just start. And no...cake, cookies, chips, and ice cream are not ok - not at the moment.
-
Hard to think about but so easy to do! And this is from someone who used to eat 6 substantial meals a day for many years purely because I was just hungry.
-
I do sprints on my street or some other form of HIIT at home in the mornings and weights at night 5- 6x a week. No issue for me. Just try it and adjust according to how you feel.
-
You need these cheat meals to kickstart your metabolism after several days of low carb intake and at the very least to keep you sane. What you can do is also do a good workout before a big meal. :)

I have been doing IF on and off for the last 2 years now. Recently I have been eating from 2pm to 10pm in preparation for a cruise in Dec. :)
-
46 next month. I'm happy to accept all friend invites.
-
Yep get into a routine. Lift heavy while keeping good form.
-
You will love exercise once you see the results! :)
-
Right now, my breakfast is nothing special as I am doing intermittent fasting but come my cheat day on Sunday, I love to go to cafes and indulge in anything delicious!
-
It's effective! I train exclusively at home too. I can't seem to justify gym fees. At home I can do it anytime with my own gym equipment. I do cardio at home or outdoors.
-
Good on you! I've sent an invite to you too.
-
You can do it!!! Just make a decision NOW to start. :)
-
There will be times you won't feel like going to gym or you just want to eat whatever you like. But when you can push through it, then you will feel much more confident and become more disciplined. What do I do in those times? I play my favourite motivation videos on youtube and just tell myself "let's just fkn do this!"
-
Keep it up!
-
Make sure the calories you take in are nutrient dense. Try 2 glasses of water when you feel hungry. If you're still hungry eat a bit more then. :)
-
Best to have it on your cheat days and enjoy it!
