An egg, poached in salsa, with a sprinkle of low-fat cheese, and wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla.

It's harder to accurately measure your calories when drinking in a bar. Bar glasses are not consistent sizes, and you may be consuming more than you think.

My current favorites are: Stash "Breakfast In Paris" black tea. I'll have two cups in the morning with a splash of dairy or almond milk. Celestial Seasonings "Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride" herbal tea. This my after-lunch treat with a little stevia. Celestial Seasonings "Honey Vanilla Chamomile" herbal tea. I drink this in the…

Zhena's Chocolate Chai tea with some almond milk and stevia is a very low calorie treat.

Chamomile tea and white noise help me sleep.

The spray-on kind can give you some butter flavor with very few calories.

I like the taste, it's kind of fizzy and sour, like unsweetened apple cider. If you're expecting something sweet you will be disappointed. I used to make it, and when I drank it every day it seemed to make my digestion work better ( less gas). I don't think the stuff from the store works as well because they have to…

Try eating them plain. You might find that it's not the rice and pasta and bread that you like, but the butter and sauce and seasonings.

A little bit is enough! I find that using only 2-3 drops of stevia per cup of tea is sufficient. Any more than that, and you get that bad aftertaste.

I like the texture of steel-cut oats better than rolled oats, but it takes longer to cook. If I have time, I'll make a big pot and portion it out for the week.

I fall asleep easily, but wake up 2 hours later. Then I'm awake for at least an hour, and then doze off-and-on for a few hours. I would love to be able to sleep through the night.

Magnesium supplement helps reduce my leg cramps.

And just using almond milk would be very bland. Not bad, just not much flavor.
-
Steel cut oats would still be very hard to chew. You could try it, but I think over-night oats are best with rolled oats.

I used to be so anemic due to heavy periods that I needed iron infusions through an I.V. It would take 2 to 3 days for my body to convert the iron into red blood cells. Then I felt amazing. My energy level was so much better after the infusions.

I weigh myself everday, and I have a rule that if my weight goes up then I have to go back to logging my food.

How do you make it stick to the popcorn? It all ends up at the bottom of the bowl.

I have been taking 5mg day for a few months. I give it credit for making me a slightly faster cyclist, and also giving the muscles in my shoulders and biceps a slightly fuller appearance. While staying at the same calorie and activity level, I've gained about 2 pounds of water weight. I haven't had any gastric problems.

I did one chin-up, and haven't been able to do it again. Oh well, I'll keep trying.

Some people would have to get to an impossibly low (or aesthetically unpleasing) percentage of body fat in order to lose a small pocket of fat on the belly or under the chin.
-
That should have said 25 grams of protein, not 25 mg. :)
-
My goals are to be a faster cyclist, gain strength, and slow down the aging process.

I have one cup of 2% cottage cheese, 1/2 cup blueberries, and 2 tbsp flaxseed. It's 280 calories and 25 mg of protein. I make it in a Tupperware container the night before so if I don't have time to eat before I go to work, I can take it with me.

I always choose black because I get grease on everything.

I know a woman with a larger-than-average ribbcage. She's a long distance cyclist (200 miles in a day) and she runs marathons. She doesn't have an ounce of extra fat on her. She says that her large rib cage gives her extra lung capacity.

There is a "grey zone" between someone acting creepy (like following me, touching me, or making sexual comments) and an actual attack. If I felt threatened and there was no other option to get away from them, yes I would consider using the pepper spray. I've been in a situation where I was waiting on a subway platform and…

It's better to pick a program and stick with it for awhile, instead of adding and changing routines on your own. A beginner program usually starts out fairly easy and then becomes more difficult. Don't worry about becoming bulky. You have to lift HEAVY weights for years to get that way. Just worry about losing weight for…

Send letters to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Reports. If the retailer and manufacturer have Facebook, twitter, or Instagram accounts, make complaints there. You can also give a bad review on Yelp. Keep complaining. Send a registered letter to the CEO of the manufacturer.

I'm sticking with pepper spray. I would hesitate to shoot somebody with a gun just because they were acting creepy.

I completed a Century Ride (100 miles) on Saturday. My average speed for the ride was 15.8 mph. I did the same ride last year at 14.7 mph, and the year before at 14.3. I think 3 things contributed to my improvement this year: I lost 10 lbs by counting calories, I increased my protein intake, and added barbell squats to my…
