I have to say that I can agree with you. I have been eating very healthy and have cut back to maybe 2x 20 min walks a week from 5x I hr walks as my shins were killing me. I wonder if it is a normal part of being at a caloric deficit for a long time. I started Jan 1st and I have lost almost 40 lbs and have another 80 to go.

WOW! 100 pounds! You are awesome, nice work!

You may want to work up to it slowly. For about 3 months I did one hour 5xweek treadmill/bike. I got shin splints just from that. Now I cut way back to 20-30 min 3xweek and will stay like that for a while before increasing. Good luck with your journey!

Try taking pictures or video of yourself. This always provides a truer picture than the mirror.

Meh, IMO highly overrated. I could have something way more enjoyable for all those calories. I actually prefer my home cooked meals now. I haven't eaten take out since last year and I don't even miss it! Unlimited fries is just going to make more overweight people and heart disease-the last thing our population needs!

What we put out to the world becomes our reality. When you throw a stone into a lake, ripples in the water follow. Everything we do or say affects more than just one other person...

Wow, reading over these posts and it's really sad to realize how much of life can be spent running...or hiding from shame. A couple of years ago I missed my 20 year high school reunion because I couldn't let others see how far I had let myself go. Many times I have spotted someone from my past and turned the other…

Oh, and did I mention I wanna look HOT?

I want to enjoy my new body, new clothes for sure. I especially want to learn to maintain when the time comes. I am sick of the yo-yo effect so I am hoping that my emotional state will be able to handle my new self. If that makes any sense?

A year and a half ago I lost 60 lbs over an 8 month period then within the same amount of time I put it all back on plus 20 more. Yep I felt foolish as well. I bet this is far more common than we think. Besides most people on some level struggle with keeping their weight at a level where they feel happy. Accept yourself…

Wow... YOU are an inspiration! Great work- you look amazing!

Good luck! Keep at it and you will succeed!

"There is no end to this journey." When this truly hit home, it really helped to "remove the urgency" of losing this weight overnight. I will never reach a day where I am at goal weight, "cured" and able to eat whatever I want, whenever I want and still maintain. At this moment I am learning and living a new way of life,…

For me I found it helpful to get rid of tempting foods, out of the house, until I got stronger. Keep at it and after you see some success, that will create motivation in you to keep it up. You can do it!

Wow, at goal weight! Way to go!

I enjoy a once or twice a day "treat" of coffee and 1/3 of a chocolate covered meal replacement bar and set calories aside for whatever treat I want on Saturday.
