  • Legion Pulse is a little on the expensive side, but it's packed with caffeine and has a very transparent ingredient list! I use the watermelon one, and I only take half a dose at a time.
  • As someone who went to college in Louisiana, has every family member living here, and is currently living in the New Orleans area, I highly approve of this post.
  • 0/10 will never freeze spaghetti squash again. DON'T DO IT
  • I have Legion Pulse- it's expensive, but I only take half the serving size. I bought it mainly because it has clinical dosages of all the ingredients and a good bit of caffeine.
  • The recipe I use is: 25g protein powder (I use PEScience) 7g coconut flour 30g canned pumpkin 69g liquid egg whites (I think that's 4.5 Tb?) 1 Tb cocoa powder (can omit if you don't want a chocolate flavor) 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/3 c almond milk You could definitely increase the amount of coconut…
  • My friends who binge-drink alcohol multiple times a week but won't touch diet soda because it's "unhealthy" and makes you fat............... okay
  • Good surprise: Shrimp, crabmeat, crawfish... I live in Louisiana, and this made me very happy! Bad surprise: Peanut butter, hummus, pretty much any condiment that isn't plain mustard or hot sauce- I was always aware of the caloric content, but when you weigh that stuff out, it is really depressing to see how small one…
  • I think the rice is soooo much better than the noodles. If you've ever had Israeli (pearled) couscous, it reminds me of that texture. The rice also holds sauce/cheese better than the noodles do, in my opinion. The rice is a lot harder to find in stores for me, though.
  • I'm not a huge fan of the noodles, but I found that the rice actually has about the same consistency as Israeli (pearled) couscous, which I loooove. It doesn't have much taste though.
  • Spray the popcorn with some olive oil spray, and sprinkle on some Parmesan and Italian seasoning- so good! I also like to use cinnamon and Splenda.
  • Didn't technically happen to ME, but... yesterday a guy walked behind me while I was squatting and was pretty obviously staring at my butt, and he ran face-first into the door frame next to me! All his friends laughed at him- I felt bad, but not THAT bad... :D Let that be a lesson to all the oglers out there! lol
  • I've been in a pretty bad binge cycle since I got back from the beach on Sunday. I kinda figured it would happen, but I didn't think it would be THIS bad... I wake up with a binge "hangover" and awful bloating that lasts all day and pretty much makes me completely unproductive. My parents are visiting this weekend, and I…
  • I had a bad binge day yesterday and now I am super bloated and puffy... binge "hangovers" are the worst. Time to start fresh with a new week though!
  • What is your presentation on? Maybe if you tell us about it, it'll help :) I'm thinking of going to grad school myself within the next year.
  • I've been doing okay this week, but I have a graduation party to go to tomorrow and a brunch on Sunday.... I'm really bad about just saying "screw it" and binging when I can't realistically log what I'm eating/drinking, and I'm so nervous I'm going to ruin all my hard work from this week. I'm also going to the beach in a…
  • Me! Well, I live on the West Bank right now but I work in NOLA
  • Fit Crunch bars (the ones by Robert Irvine) taste like an actual candy bar. No joke. I buy them at Walmart. They aren't super low in carbs but mannnn are they good
  • I'm so happy to have found this group! I have been struggling with food issues since I was about 13. I had anorexia throughout high school, and that morphed into BED in college. I have somehow managed to maintain (and even lose) weight at times, even with BED. MFP has definitely helped me stick to a "normal" eating pattern…

  • I'm so happy I found this thread. I'm currently coming off of a really bad binge from yesterday and I'm not feeling too great about myself... I've been struggling with this for almost 10 years, and I am sick and tired of feeling this way. All of you feel free to add me!
  • I'm in! I'm going to the beach in two weeks, so there's no room for error on the weekends anymore-they are my biggest weakness!
  • I'm also 5'2" and looking to lose the last few pounds! I was where you were about a year ago, and now I'm trying to lose a little body fat and gain muscle (I look about 10 lbs heavier than I really am- yay for being short haha), and I am going to the beach in 2 weeks with friends. Feel free to add me!
  • That looks amazing! I will definitely have to try it
  • I haven't had a binge-free Sunday in SO long, and today I finally did it! Here's to starting the week off feeling happy and healthy :)
  • This is a game changer! I need to pick this book up!
  • For some weird reason, a big ole sweet potato topped with sauteed veggies and a little cheese fills me up more than any food I've ever eaten, haha. You can top them with anything-chili, pulled pork/chicken, salsa and beans- the possibilities are endless!
  • Check out hungrygirl.com! There are tons of "recipe makeovers" on their site.
  • You know, I've actually been trying to put this feeling into words for the past couple days, and you did it! I absolutely mourn this; I am also fairly short (and looking to lose the last few lbs), and I can easily undo a week's worth of a deficit in an HOUR on the weekends. Unfortunately, I don't feel as though this desire…
  • You are so right! Thank you for this; it's exactly what I needed to hear today!
  • 4 days binge-free!! Instead of being impatient with my weight loss and over-restricting/binging/repeat, I'm finally learning to "trust the process" and it seems to be helping so far :)
  • I'm about 115 right now (5'2"), looking to lose maybe 6 or 7 more pounds. I'm completely happy with my upper body, but my lower body is still a mess. My legs are (at least) an entire pants size larger than what will fit my waist, so hopefully these last few pounds will come off of that area :D
