Thanks for the response and sorry I haven't responded sooner...great to know I'm on the right track. I got Iso 100 and today is my first day using it as I struggle to get enough protein. As far as the calorie goal I am not sure yet if it is too high...my weight has been +\- 2lbs since I started strength training and…

Same question... what would u consider sufficient protein intake?

I roast the squash ahead of time and store in the fridge: http://www.ambitiouskitchen.com/2014/10/breakfast-baked-acorn-squash-greek-yogurt-honey-pecans/#_a5y_p=2659567 LOVE THIS!! http://www.closetcooking.com/2013/12/chicken-enchilada-stuffed-spaghetti.html This is soooo good but kind of high calorie as is. I skip the…

Protein maybe on high side but not unreasonably so. But better for very overweight people to calculate from their goal weight not current weight though. What would u consider to be a more reasonable watt calculate protein? I am having trouble hitting this mark.

Very helpful thank you bro

I thought I already replied here do sorry if it posts twice. Thanks for the useful information. I am still new to all of this so I will definitely read up on this. Sounds like your gadget is something that could help me as, in all honestly, it's mainly for my piece of mind. Being able to visually see that deficit will help…

Actually it's precor amt 100i

Obviously for you it is different...several people are making the point that THEY can estimate better better than a gadget, not me. Please...don't be condescending. Thank you. I do 50 minutes highest level intenaity on a machine that's kinda like a stair master mixed with an elliptical. It only says precore no model...but…

Am I misinformed in thinking that if I keep up with my current cardio routine (burning 600+ cals)I will burn off the muscle that I am trying to build?
-
so right now I burn 600+ with my cardio alone...I don't see any chance of hitting that with strength training and I don't want to eat less food because I know that I cannot maintain that over time and I wouldn't get all my nutrients. Maybe I need to go into my settings as my activity level is not the same as it was when I…

I get it...but it's a better estimate than what I could come up with on my own

How will I know how accurate it is without a gadget to track it?
-
Me

I exercise harder just so I can eat more...on 1200 Cal goal it's hard to do it without a good deficit.

Use pinterest to get ideas and sub the full fat cooking oils for fat free cooking spray. Chances are if you are cooking real food (not from a box or package) and u are not adding to many fats/sugars/sodium in the process, then portion control should be all that's left to worry about.

I LOVE Panna cotta...I've got to try this immediately!!!

Frozen lite whipped cream is 10 cals/tbsp. That's 160 cals/cup and when it's frozen it has an ice cream texture. I like to heat up a 90 calorie fiber one brownie and top it with 2 tbsp of frozen whipped cream for 110 calories...mmmmmmmmmmm

The first is my favorite! I usually roast a few squash on a food prep day and store in Tupper ware. I rotate between this and Overnight Oats with Kefir and fruit. Add an eggs and/or toast to balance your macros. http://www.ambitiouskitchen.com/2014/10/breakfast-baked-acorn-squash-greek-yogurt-honey-pecans/#_a5y_p=2659567…

Awesome! Thank you...I will definitely check them out.

Thanks...I will refer back to this when I have more time.

Thank you very much...This info is exactly what I needed.

I only dread it because I know it is hard work...harder than my cardio routine...but I'm down I just have to mentally prepare. Also, I know I will have to just buck up and do it to get the result I want. So I guess I'm going to resolve to start on Monday So now the question is...does timing matter? Should is be doing…
-
Thank you! It's nice to have something to follow when u are just starting out.
-
And the proper time to do it would be AFTER lifting for best results?

I only have about an hour because I go while my oldest is in school. My youngest goes to the daycare at the gym and can really only last in there for so long before she crashes (only 1 y/o) So by a HIIT session you mean....what exactly? Lol My purely assumed knowledge of this is something like crunches and weights broken…
