Think wedding dress, think gym. That what i used to think to myself. And it worked. They had to take 4 inches off my wedding dress around my waist at my first fitting :). Good luck

Hi i'm 25 weeks and 4days. I just changed my settings to maintain when i found out. And using the app to keep an eye on what i am eating. So far no concerns from doctor or midwife about my weight :). Congratulations and good luck xxx

Loving this thread and going to look up some of these books. :D. I have always enjoyed the little black dress books. Favourite one is simple irasistable. I also loved girl on the train, before i go to sleep and dear amy. There just so many i really enjoyed. And of course HARRY POTTER :D :D.

Hiya. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and in the same boat. Logging in and trying not to gain anymore than i should. And making healthier choices. I'll add you :). Been looking for pregnant friends lol.

Definitly will be asking my midwife first before doing anything. Or wait till the baby is born as it is growing again. Its just something i have always wondered so i though i'll ask the community :)

I not lost or had thinning of my hair. It just seems not to grow the rate it used to. Found some articles online. May up my protein and eggs. Alreadt taking vitamins for pregnancy. Thanks guys. Hope you succeed in your goals x

Natural sugars are fine. I'm not to sure why mfp counts it. Its sugar that is added into anything you need to keep an eye on. I been keeping my eye on my sugar intake and it is shocking how much sugar is added into things.

I am 14 weeks pregnant and i calorie count but not to lose weight but to maintain. However i am not being too stricked with myself. I just want to keep an eye on what i am eating and make some right choices. For example if i get the munches i try and eat fruit :)

Hello :). Try posting this onto introduce yourself if your new. If its a lifestyle change and to lose weight your after then you have come to the right place. Log eveything that you eat and drink. Losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise. Why not just concentrate on the cals first. Then when you lose abit of weight and hopfully have abit more energy and feel better you can look into exercise again. Good luck :)

Well done on your weight loss. And also well done for not gaining over xmas. What motivates me is thinking back. Thinking to how good i felt after a workout/swim/walk. It could just be you body still getting used to your new routine. I read somewhere that it takes 3 months for your body to adjust. Keep hanging in there and eat low cals like fruit and nuts. This will also stop you blood sugar from rising and falling :)

I'm no doctor/ dietician but i heard once that bananna is meant to help with period cramps. Worth a try if you can have bananna xxx

Hello Well done on your weight loss :). When i first started mfp i counted calories and did swimming. When i felt more confident i started to exercise at the gym. I found the more i exercised the more i began to enjoy it :). Good luck on your journey x
