That was going to be my advice as well. Do it like the good ole' days. The bright side is if you're lifting food or Home Depot-like products, you can use them later. You can't eat dumbells. :D

Hello, Samandrosie! To the best of my knowledge, just walk for a couple of hours a day, let alone 30 minutes. Along with watching what you consume, then again it depends on your age and sex as well.
-
I may have to try this in the future.
-
Ditto. This has happened to me before on multiple occasions. Try listening to your favorite music, or reading a book. I usually day dream.
-
I really wish I hadn't clicked on this thread, and read that. Now, I want a pizza, when instead I should drink a vegetable/fruit drink.

Hello there, Slimgirljo15.

Congratulations, Wrenak. It's great to see people moving forward. I agree, I wish I would have started earlier, but back in those days I had little information to help me lose the weight -- other than the shoveling lettuce, starving, and walking around the block.
-
I've thought about doing that myself. I may have to give that a try in the future.
-
Congratulations, ShaneLynch. I've done the same. Those long walks can do a wonder on the body. The pounds really start to melt off almost immediately.
-
That's amazing! What a fantastic transformation. Congratulations.
-
Hm. That's a great chart, CoffeeNCardio, and of course, lemonlionheart.
-
Ditto. Stress does it for me, then I realize, "uh-oh," I just messed up.
-
Marykleonb, way to go on your journey to self-health improvement.
-
It boils down to just having confidence to keep yourself moving forward. Everyone loses weight differently, and you shouldn't compare yourself to others. Good luck.

Thanks for the quick reply. You can add me if you want. Yes, the bending over to tie the shoes was a worrisome task back in the day. I used to dread when things had fallen over in public. Just keep at it, and you'll be able to run about without breaking a sweat.

It's called, "The battle of the bulge for a reason." It's an on-going battle to burn it off and keep it off. I'm confident you can succeed.
-
My health. If I don't get it off and keep it off, I'll be in the grave sooner than I expect, but before I do, it's a long road of agonizing pain. That alone keeps me focused to burn, burn, burn the fat off my body. It's dismal and dark, I know, but it's realistic.

Mmm...now I want to try out some apples and peanut butter. As someone said on another thread, it's better to just not buy it, so you don't eat it -- you can't eat what you don't have.
-
That's because sugar is an addiction. I try to avoid it all as much as possible from time to time. I just wish it was healthy for us. :D
-
To get healthy. I want to extend my lifespan. The answer to your second question, I am my own worst enemy, but I am my own best friend as well.
-
Congratulations, Maplesyrup10.
-
You can do it, ldw123086!

It's exciting to see so many people dedicated to losing weight. I want to lose some weight as well. Add me, folks, if you want.
-
Congratulations, Bundyman! With me, it was constant headaches I would get, along with being out of breath doing the simplest of tasks.

The sagging skin is a nuisance. I'm in my 30s, though I just try to tighten it up with weight lifting and exercise. *fingers crosses*
-
I use my bare hands, and nothing has happened to them, then again I'm told, I have "bear hands." I've thought about using gloves, b/c everyone around me use them.
-
Hello, Eternallove2. Just stay on proteins and carbs, while taking protein powders in your drinks. How long do you spend lifting weights at the gym?
-
He kind of has a Dr. Phil thing going on.
