My NSV is that I'm back. Joined MFP in 2016, lost 130 pounds, got pregnant & gained some (totally normal and healthy) weight, had an awesome baby, successfully parented for a year, and now I'm back to lose some of that weight. Calorie counting is still easy, but fitting it in with a small child who wants to put everything…

Haha THANK YOU! Thought of it right when the 300 movie came out and it just stuck.

Another day, another progress pic :D 127 pounds down!

This is all great advice! One other thing I'd mention is that remember if you're out of the country, you probably don't want to be using GPS or music from your phone, unless the music is offline. Same thing if you have a fitness watch that uses your phone's GPS. For me this is a big deal because I usually track my pace on…

I've been in a funk this week. I think I can attribute it to post-race depression. (And the weather. It was snowing yesterday :s ) My whole life for 4 months has been half marathon training, and now it's over! I'm happy with how I did, but was feeling a bit aimless. So my NSV is that I am taking steps to work on enjoying…

I’m so behind on this thread BUT I ran a half marathon on Saturday!!!! And today I actually enjoyed a trip to the DMV to renew my license :) first time I’ve had an honest weight listed :D

We have a stand of ever-rotating candy at my office. I visited to get myself some m&ms (no shame in that CICO game). A coworker saw me and said, "I love seeing the super-athletic runners get candy too." ...Moi? Super-athletic? Runner? Sacré bleu!

Thank you! The dress is originally from Dress Barn but I got it at a thrift shop for $7! Bargain clothes shopping becomes an acquired skill during weight loss ;)

I’m 6’1” (can I still post here? :D) and I’ve lost 125 pounds since 7/5/16

I can wear knee socks!

I did deadlifts BY MYSELF today! And I finished the first 4 weeks of Strong Curves. I was not specifically in it for the booty building, but I definitely have a butt now. Weird.

ha nobody told me i'd need my husband to hide the scale so i'd resist weighing myself every day
-
congrats girl!! and you are soooo cute <3

Had to post on here again! My mind has been playing tricks on me lately, so I decided to take some photos to set it straight. I am 6’1” and I started using MFP on 7/5/16.

Saw my trainer yesterday. I was telling her about how I struggled to bench the bar (45 lbs) when I was lifting on my own last week, and thought I might need to start with one of the smaller bars. She wanted us to just try it. I benched the bar x10 easy. She laughed and said I was crazy for thinking I needed to go lighter.…

seconding this :D half marathon in april, marathon relay in may... remember the days of hating running? C25K may be a free app but it cost me a lot of money for race registrations lol
-
haha thank you and I KNOW RIGHT?? that was only 2 years ago! i was like "why didn't anyone tell me i was marrying a literal infant"
-
My coworkers and I are running a marathon relay in May! I wasn't planning on joining since I'm running a half in April, but they offered me the final leg, and I couldn't resist running through the finish line :) Plus my work is sponsoring us so it's free! Which is good because my race addiction is making me broke lol

I am all about weight loss rewards! I didn't have a specific plan for celebrating milestones during my first 65 lbs lost, and I knew I needed some inspiration. So I wrote out some rewards on sticky notes and put them in envelopes with some cash. * 250: go to Cookie Love (involves a scenic drive to a little shop with fancy…

Two transformations for the price of one! I’m down 120+ lbs and my husband is up 25 lbs, all thanks to MFP.

People keep telling me I look taller. I thought it was funny until I saw a pic of me. Yup I do look taller! (I’m definitely not.)

A few lifting NSVs... 1. I successfully completed two weeks of Strong Curves -- my first attempt at a program without a trainer. I can actually get myself to the gym without having a scheduled session! Shocking. 2. I had been deadlifting with the trap bar for the past few months. Yesterday my trainer suggested we try the…

People will assume you only eat rabbit food even though you very clearly say you track calories. I ran into a coworker in the kitchen. She looked at my food and said "That looks like macaroni and cheese... But it can't be! What is it?" To which I replied "It's mac and cheese." (Pff you think I'd still be on this "diet" if…

Caught my reflection in the gym locker room while I was just in my underthings and thought I looked pretty good. That's a first!
-
Got my first “Make sure you don’t lose TOO much weight!” comment. Feels weird.
-
I can measure out a serving of Ben & Jerry's and be happily satisfied. I used to eat a whole 1200 calorie pint myself with no problem (other than ignoring how it slowly didn't taste as good the more I ate it....) Also I'm officially in ONEderland -- sorry, had to slip that scale victory in :D

Hey thanks! Happy to be here. Don’t plan on leaving any time soon ;)
