Fave pants from last fall fit again and look pretty good. Last year I lost some weight rapidly from April to August (15 lbs or so), then regained it from September to January. Now losing again thankfully, and seeing it in my clothes!17

easier to get out of the tub!
I used to dred the end of the bath when I had to hoist myself up - but I've been doing it without even thinking the last couple of months! I've only lost 15lbs, so I think it has more to do with my strength training29 -
A NSV that actually has caused a problem - my weight loss has put me in between bathing suit sizes. Awesome that I am getting smaller, but now I don't have a suit that fits right for next week, lol.25

Apparently my bathing suit is now so comically large my dad felt the need to comment on it... that's saying something19

I wore a pair of running shoes strictly through athletic activity, with no casual wear. It took about 7 months, and it's a lifetime first for me!25

Made it into the 230s. I was so happy this morning. Down 36 pounds since January.42

Size 34 waist for new shorts.
Been struggling since January to get down to GW 184 from 189. Decided to go with NSV and now get my Scale Victory next!

Out of the "Obese" BMI today for the first time since 2004.65

I've only lost 4kg - but already I have fit into a smaller pair of pants then a yet smaller pair that I haven't even worn for over 12 years - since before kids!
I am wearing smaller clothes to remind me that I have a ways to go yet.
Small drops in weight can have such a big difference! Keep going everyone!20 -
Went to get dressed for work this morning and thought the sweater I chose could use an undershirt because I was cold. Although I've thought this many many times, I've never let myself wear 2 x shirts at once (to work) because I always felt like the extra layer made me feel even more fat and look a lot "thicker". Screw wanting to feel warm, and look more appropriate, I went with comfort and two shirts was a no-go.
Not today, and not ever again. Walked around all day with a tank-top underneath and a sweater over top and wouldn't have it any other way!22 -
A couple weeks ago, I hit my goal weight and went into maintenance (so here's hoping all future victories are NSVs ) While I was losing the weight, I would generally avoid of some of my favorite foods because they were "trigger" foods - if I had a little, I'd have a lot. Pizza is one of those foods, and after everything I went through to get to this point, I never really learned how to enjoy in moderation.
Earlier this week, I was tested when my boyfriend wanted to order a pizza. Now that I'm in maintenance and this is starting to feel like a more permanent lifestyle change, I'm trying to incorporate back in some of my favorite foods without going overboard. Instead of ordering my very own large pizza and polishing it off within 24 hours (something I've been known to do), I checked the menu for a healthier option. I ordered a small, vegetarian flatbread that was surprisingly delicious. I ate it until I wasn't hungry anymore, stayed within my calorie goal, and saved the rest for lunch the next day.
It's a little thing, but it's one of the biggest hurdles I think I've cleared so far. Now that I know I can do it, I think it'll be a little easier next time :-)
This is so funny! We had unexpected company yesterday and I ended up ordering pizza for dinner. I ordered a small vegetarian for myself. I ate half and had the second half for dinner tonight. I said to my husband "I bet you never thought you'd see this happen!". Because it truly was a first for me. And then I read your post LOL This is a whole new, wonderful way of life, isn't it?21 -
Today, I comfortably wore jeans that I haven't been able to wear since last spring!
I'm so psyched!19 -
Got a compliment from the doctor today on general health and lower blood pressure. Still room for improvement, but I'm on the right path.27
-
After being disappointed at scales not moving since I took up training 3 times a week, I found out my measurements have shrunk!28
-
Not an original one for this thread but a first for me: I pulled my pants down without unbuttoning them first the other day. So cool. Though the sized down version of the same jeans that I bought are still too small so I'm sticking with these until they fall off I guess.
Am I the only one who has only ever put on or taken off jeans this way? If I have to undo them, they are too tight!
You know, you just reminded me that this used to be me too. Apple-shape woes. At my heaviest the top of my butt had formed a kind of shelf so that wasn't a thing but I wonder if I'm back to that again now. Oddly my hips are much wider, proportionately, than they were the last time I was this weight (long, long ago) so I guess we'll have to see once I'm at goal weight and get some appropriately sized jeans.7 -
I did a heel click. Oh yeah.18
-
I can wear knee socks!27
-
I doubled the weight I'm lifting on my barbell squat. Granted, it was a small weight to start out with, but I'm looking at it as a step in the right direction.30

Just back from a couple month hiatus when a local business brought in cookies and I turned them down! I've been struggling with that but, proud that I passed them off to everyone else in the office that could enjoy them.23

I maybe my last drop off of big clothes. I’ve gone from UK size 24-26 in August 2016 to UK 10-12 (US 6-8) today. I have been buying new clothes as I went and taking my too big clothes to charity so no going back! I don’t want to get any smaller, just tone up, I hope to stay a 10-12 so weird feeling this is my forever wardrobe not temporary whilst losing. No more too big clothes left in my wardrobe!33

I went to IHOP to pick up some food for my sibling. I was super tempted to get something myself and I resisted!23

50 day streak on MFP!! Down 16 pounds (it's actually a bit more, as I'd lost 5 pounds or so because of the flu in the previous month).
Looking forward to making it a 365 day streak! At least.24 -
i woke up looked outside and it was raining.
I still peeled myself out of bed on my day off at 630 in the morning and walked my butt to the gym. Even when i knew it was gross out normally id haggle with myself and say *kitten* the gym ill clean my house or something instead.
Admittedly the gym was fuller thn i expected and i only managed to do 45 minutes of bodyweight stuff in the studio (i love my alone time but its not the most muscle building or cardio sort of workout lol) So it wasnt the best workout ever but i kept myself moving and working every muscle i can i did good.
Screw you rain, I got this ;D28 -
I quit my blood pressure medicine in stages. I started taking only half about 2 or 3 months ago and then I stopped the remaining half Sunday. I Smoked some pork on Saturday night so have been eating that for 2 days and wanted to check to be sure my BP was staying down. 119/68 with a pulse rate of 42. I checked with a friend who is a PA and I am officially off the pill. He was concerned with my pulse rate but the amount of cardio may have something to do with that.
The scale is no longer moving like it was but my health continues to improve.

I had a 5K run two weeks ago and finally after so long ran each mile under 10 mins. My time was 28:56. Never, i mean never would i have thought that i would get that time. Started at 17 min a mile since I really never ran. Started working at it since 5 years ago.25

My nsv is fitting into a pair of jeans I haven't been able to wear in almost 5 years! I started at a size 14 and this pair is a size 8!28
-
Been feeling a bit discouraged lately because the scale has stalled and I haven't really been seeing any body composition changes... that all changed today though when my glasses kept falling off during my workout! I've been so busy looking for changes in the rest of my body that somehow I completely missed my face!42

I love NSVs! I've had some wonderful scale victories lately, but having blood pressure of 95/66 and a resting heart rate of 57 is so wonderful!
...As is my latest NSV: I ran what I believe is my first-ever straight-through (no walking) mile today. 18 laps was the end, with a total time of 11:22.98 (didn't pause it until part-way through the first lap of the cool-down walk). I've only walked or walk/jogged the mile before that I can recall.
