I was starting to feel a little burnt out so last week I deloaded my weights and then this week due to scheduling/weather issues I couldn't make it to the gym at all, which might have worked out for the best since my knee has been bothering me from a soccer injury. A friend asked me to go bouldering with her last night and I was worried the two weeks would have really effected me but nope! I was finally able to complete a route I had been working on last time we went, and started working on a couple of harder ones! The break seemed to be just what I needed (mentally and physically) and now I'm excited to hit the gym hard next week!16

I can measure out a serving of Ben & Jerry's and be happily satisfied. I used to eat a whole 1200 calorie pint myself with no problem (other than ignoring how it slowly didn't taste as good the more I ate it....)
Also I'm officially in ONEderland -- sorry, had to slip that scale victory in57 -
Went down another notch on my belt this morning and I can almost comfortably fit back into one of my dress shirts from college. A couple more weeks and I should be able to break it out of my closet again.18

I was so angry this morning when I was tearing the house apart for 20 minutes to find my missing jeans. I own one pair. It turned out that my 14 year old wore them "without realizing," despite the fact that she only wears tall skinny jeans and my one pair of jeans are petite boot cut jeans. I was determined to wear jeans today, so here I am, at work, in my 14 year-old's junior sized skinny jeans. I hope I don't look ridiculous, as I am very self-conscious. Still...I can borrow my kid's clothes.61

Ha ha, I love this! What a great problem to have!8 -
I ate at least 800g of fruits and veggies every weekday in January!
Weekends are a little less organized.25 -

My NSV is that I am back at it again. Hello health and a smaller me-can't wait17

1) Decided to treat myself to a crumpet today (had room in my calorie goal, so why not?). Toasted it, added a smear of butter and jam, bit into it and . . . yuck. It was horrible. Threw the rest in the bin as couldn't see the point in eating something that I wasn't enjoying. I shall have ice cream later instead
2) My children are right. They've been telling me that I'm crazy and today I finally realised that they are right. Because you'd have to be totally crazy to cycle UP the hill that I usually cycle down at 40-48mph (speed depends on how tired I am, whether there's a tail- or head-wind and whether the other road users are in my way).
It was a killer. I had to stop for about 30 seconds halfway up to catch my breath, but I cycled the whole way. The last time I tried to do this, I had to walk the middle section (which is really, really steep) and was offered a lift by some guy in a truck. Not this time. No, no, no. My little Rayleigh bike and I took it on and conquered it. Afterwards, I decided NEVER to do that again but now I'm thinking that maybe I should, just for fun . . .33 -
I refused a piece of cake today. I LOVE cake, any kind. I am down to losing my last five pounds, and my weight has been fluctuating daily and hovering at about an 8 pound loss. A coworker brought in some extra birthday cake, a piece was served to me, and I let it sit there for about an hour. Then I got up, and walked it down to where more people were and offered it to the first taker. This is HUGE for me, and I'm very proud of myself. I've worked too hard.
Now, I think cake is okay if you have factored it into your daily calorie count, but today I hadn't done that so I let myself refuse it.28 -
I was able to slide right into my business suit this morning! I loved this suit before I quit smoking and gained 30+ pounds! I don't think I've ever been a successful non-smoker and been at this weight. Yay!33

I'm not sure if it counts as a NSV, but today at the grocery store, the deli lady said, "Look at you, getting so thin!" I'm not thin, but that felt wonderful.25

Today I found one of my really old drum corps T-shirts that I used to wear 40 years ago. It looked so tiny but just for fun I tried it on, and it fit! OMG, OMG, OMG. It's been decades since I could wear it. That made my day.26

I didn’t get a donut yesterday when I went with a friend to get coffee. I was under calories and really feeling it, but I won that battle. Plus I don’t want to be that guy asking “how much for one donut hole”?12

Last night I went to the first meeting of a ladies life group. I haven't met anyone before. Couple of the ladies said they walked early in the mornings. I said how I've been walking a lot more with my dogs since hubby's working on my car & can't take them to the dog park. The hostess said "no wonder you're so skinny"! She called me skinny! I did lose 48 lbs, but I don't see myself as skinny at all, still want to lose at least 10 more lbs21

I donated most of my 1x clothes. I've kept a few tops to adjust at goal weight, but there are big empty spaces in my cupboard! Feels weirdly unreal.13

I was reviewing my progress on my measurements over the last 8-ish months, and I've lost the most inches off my waist, second most off my hips, and least off my bust. In other words, so far I feel like I've been losing in the 'right' places, and I'm now shaped more like a woman and less like a bubble.34

I agree, the whole MFP woo-button is stupid.

Running has become quite uncomfortable lately... so I went shopping (sports bra in front) then I went looking for my very first sports bra (purple one at the back)

It took me a minute to realize there are THREE sports bras here. Wow--what a difference! Your new bra looks so teeny-tiny!!!13 -
When checking in for a cruise now they will use your passport photo for your ship ID. Last week the clerk looked at mine and said "You definitely need a new picture. This looks like your twin with extra pounds added." 50 pounds down!
At dinner the man next to me said "You really eat a lot for such a tiny woman". Wow! Someone called me tiny! And my meal included, a large salad, extra veggies and a lean protein. Glass of wine with cheese plate for desert.23 -
NSV: Sticking to the lunch I had packed for work today when a co-worker orders a pizza for themselves and shares with all of us. Social eating is a big thing where I work. In the past, I would have been the culprit in starting a social eating experience at work along with eating more than I anticipated of whatever we were having on top of my lunch.
Practicing self control as well as not allowing myself to feel quilty for not participating, especially since I have goals is my NSV.24 -
