Thanks for your very detailed response. I'm going to leave it as I have it set up tonight, do the workout through Map My Fitness and see what happens and go from there.

Then that would explain it. I haven't been getting 6000 steps. Working on improving that but I'll change it to not very active.
-
What activity level do you have set?
-
It was set to lightly active but right now I don't do much exercise. Maybe that's the issue. I'll change it to not very active.
-
For the sake of my sanity I just deleted the Runkeeper app. I guess I'll just use the stock Apple watch exercise app.

Not true, if you are not losing you are taking in more calories than you are using.
-
The goal now says 1200 but maybe it was changed?

String cheese, Greek yogurt, 100 calorie packs of almonds, a rice cake with a wedge of Laughing Cow light cheese are some of my favorite snacks.
-
Ditto!

I've used it when I feel a cold coming on. Just a tablespoon in a cup of warm water and chug.

I am tired just reading that you walked 38,000 steps. That is awesome. I am happy when I hit 14,000[/quote] Heck I'd be thrilled with 14,000. I struggle with a desk job to get 9000.

I would see what the average calories burned from your Fitbit are and adjust for your 20% deficit based on that. Too many information sources just get confusing. Give it a month and see if you are losing at the rate you would like to and if not, make modifications. MFP also gives me 1200 calories per day (short woman over…

I did almost all of that except for weighing again AFTER the veggies were cooked. That may be why my amounts seemed off.

I've been okay with Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches but they are a hefty 150 calories each. I used to eat the Arctic Zero "ice cream" but I'm afraid to try that again. Time to find another treat.

I only had half a pint :'( I kind of had some stomach pains during the night but it hit hard this morning just as I was leaving for work. In doing some research I read that many people have issues once the erythritol has been digested. Seems to fit what happened to me. Guess I'll find another after dinner treat.

Yes, I do have a gym membership and I totally agree about immediately changing and going right after work. Too easy to get involved with other things and then sit down and that's it. I already get up at 5:45 am so I'm not sure about working out before work.
-
Very helpful information. I always feel like I should be jogging 5 miles a day or doing an hour on the elliptical or something. Right now though even if I walk after dinner I only end up with about 7000 steps. I'll keep at it.

I do really like my Fitbit. My new Charge 2 also has reminders to get up and move if I've been sitting for too long. I don't find that it over-estimates my calorie expenditure either. If I was given 2130 calories a day it would be no problem to eat less :D When you are dealing with being short, a woman and over 50 it's…

I work in a very small office but when everyone else is at lunch I do try to walk around in circles. Walking at lunch is only an option in the cooler months as the summer heat is brutal here in Central Florida. I don't live within walking distance of anything but do make sure I park far away from the entrance of any store…

Guess I'll just have to try to up the exercise. I do have a desk job which doesn't help. I'm good at coming up with excuses as I really hate most forms of exercise. I know everyone says to find something you like but I don't like any of it, lol. Plus I'm just tired when I get home from work. :s

I remember trying the Fiber One bars years ago and referred to them as Fiber One fart bars. My current issue isn't gas but horrible stomach pains, sharp and coming in waves. The cramping is causing nausea too. Never again!
-
I won't be making that mistake again. Literally sitting here at work feeling like I've got razor blades in my gut.
-
They are all for me, lol, over the course of a couple days. What I have been doing is weighing them raw individually and adding them to the recipe builder. I then weigh the whole pan (empty pan and then full pan) to get the total weight of the veggies. Last night the total weight was 1225 grams. I edited the recipe to show…

I also love roasted veggies (zucchini, red peppers, sweet onions & baby carrots). The pre-made frozen riced cauliflower is a new favorite of mine as well as I like to mix it with other veggies or use it to make a mock "fried rice". Snacks are high protein things like sliced turkey, string cheese or Greek yogurt. For me, I…

Wrap some string cheese in a couple thin slices of turkey.
-
And now Green Giant makes several different versions of riced cauliflower you can get in the freezer section. Super convenient!

I lost 50 lbs. in 2011 when I was 49. It was hard especially as I was already post-menopausal at that age. Now I've gained about 30 lbs. back as I've been overeating and not exercising. I literally have about 5 outfits that I can squeeze into out of a closet stuffed full of cute clothes so I know it's time to do something.…

For me I find that if I eat a breakfast that has protein it keeps me from being ravenous at lunch time. Another quick and easy breakfast is some Greek yogurt with a little granola on top.
-
My go-to breakfast is a toasted slice of Dave's Killer power seed bread topped with 1/4 cup Egg Beaters, 1/4 avocado and a little sriracha sauce. I also like some of the Hungry Girl egg mug recipes.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I also found Skinnytaste on Facebook which seems to have a lot of choices.
