I wouldn't recommend HT if you have a dairy sensitivity. If you budget your calories accordingly, you won't gain weight.

If I'm over my weekly goal by ~1,000 calories I won't gain weight, right? Because it takes 3,500 extra to gain a pound??? Genuine question.

I'm the opposite. When I'm "bored" (read: relaxing) I find I have more time to focus on what I'm eating. I say when I'm busy/stressed with work and life. Really trying to slow down and focus, though.
