Greek roasted tilapia. Low fat, low carb and 30 minutes start to finish.

LOL! I feel that way about Justin Bieber's Love Yourself. I think he's a pathetic excuse for human flesh, but that song is REALLY catchy.

Nailed it! I've been trying to restrict my calories too much and I'm gaining as a result. Some is probably water weight (I don't drink nearly enough of that wonderful H2O stuff) but the rest is most likely my body thinking I'm starving myself and it's holding on for dear life. I've also realized (today, in fact) 135 lbs is…

When I was a kid, I never got why my mom would say cake and icing was too sweet. It was perfect! Now that I'm older...whoa, Nelly. Today, I have to scrape all of it off the top and sides and if it's really sweet, the middle too!

Me either. For a weeknow

I'm right there with you! October 2017, my meniscus snapped and rolled in on itself. December 2017, I had surgery to fix it. Missed out on a lot and now I'm getting back into it. Would love to have a buddy to relate to!

Honestly, I was tired of hearing how my thinner coworker is "Soooo hot." And how, I "can't possibly understand." Really? I can't? I wanted so badly to reply, "Dude, I'm fat. I'm not Quasi--freaking--moto!" Retail, man. Killer of self-esteem everywhere.

This is going to be my first (hopefully of many) UAC and while I'm a bit nervous, I know this is what I need. I slacked off during my stay-cation and my scale called me out on it. Hoping I can get back on track and get my booty moving!

Same! I hit 139.7 at one point and bounce up and down from 139 to 142. Yeah, it's only 3 lbs, but it's been 2 months! LOL

Yes! I always had gnarly monthlies, (heavy, wicked cramps, bloating) but after losing the weight, I now wonder: "How am I not dead after all this blood loss?"

I've gotten this for YEARS. Mom always drank diet soda and so I did too. Only time I didn't was when I was preggers with my kids. Now, I hear, "You'll lose more weight if you ditch the diet soda." I have 2 go-to responses: 1. Look them in the eye, pop open the can and drink 2. Reply, "Have you ever heard of Nunya?" When…

Omg! Yes! My daughter got me bsth stuff for my birthday/mother's day present. But the tub (and kitchen stools) kill my tailbone

Awesome! You look amazing. Love the haircut too!

On the flipside, you can be an 8 in one style of jeans (which I currently am) but a size 10 in another can make you feel like a sausage about to burst from its casing. Soooo not fair.

I think I'm on a first name basis with the people at my local Goodwill. LOL. I've gone down 5 sizes in the last year and have spent only about $100 in new-ish clothes. Pretty sure the new (smaller) bras cost more. B)

I do this. I start out with a basic plan and log what I think I'll eat. (Breakfast is always the same, lunch similar) If I change anything up during the day, I add/subtract. I still pretty much stick to what I initially set, but those 2pm pretzels or Teddy Grahams sometimes sneak in. It's not weird that it bothers you. You…

The ones on my tummy and thighs look like claw marks from a werewolf. Also, no one memtioned loose skin can be very hard to distinguish from fat if you're not used to it. I play with it and my husband grins and says, "Skin, honey. Skin. Not what you think." **It's still fun to squish it. LOL**

Uh oh... I did not realize it was a bad thing either. Ooops. Hope whoever I mistakenly did that to doesn't think I was being a b***h. :o

It was on the very tip of my tongue to say, "f*** you, dude." I have an amazing boss though and he said he wouldn't have reprimanded me if I had.
-
LOL! I love that. Thank you everyone for your kind words. I know I was being a tad sensitive, but for the first time in my life, I did the healthy thing. I channeled all that bitterness into a fabulous workout and I actually felt pretty zen afterwards. Guess there's truth to the fitness mags when they say exercise boosts…

Unexpected side effect #5 for me: Realizing I'm not big anymore. I still associate myself with being a larger girl. I spouted off with, "Yeah? I have a big fat a** for you to kiss too..." and had my friend and coworker return with, "Um... no you don't."

Hi! I'm actually directly across the water from Seattle. I live in the Bremerton area.

In the Pacific Northwest, winter means torrential rain and wind. This week, as I was making a mad dash across the parking lot at work, I realized I was running. Considering I had knee surgery last month, this was huge for me. I can only go up from here!

My brain still hasn't caught up. LOL. My physical therapist handed me a pair of shorts to wear and asked, "Think a medium will be too big? Let's get you a small, just in case." I have never in my life EVER worn a small. I prepared myself for the walk of shame to go out there and say they didn't fit when, holy moly! They.…

Exactly. I love the "you look great!" and that's it comments because I can say thank you but the one's that make me uncomfortable say things like "you've lost a lot of weight", "wow you got skinny". I can't say anything to that, I want to walk away from you lol And once I mention I still want to lose 20lbs I get "omg…

I have been EXACTLY where you are. When I started this journey a year ago, even the small increase in physical activity I did caused weight gain. My poor teenage son had the misfortune of trying to talk sense into me--and wrestle the bag of Oreos out of my hands. He explained I was doing everything right, I wasn't a…

I know reading that hurt, but always keep in mind every one is different, with different needs, body structures and fitness levels. You are vastly more in shape than I am, that's for sure. I'm just now trying to train for a first ever 5K. By all means, acknowledge and accept your feelings, but don't let it get you down.
-
But you ARE a success story. You've started something amazing and losing 100 lbs is a huge accomplishment. You should be extremely proud of yourself and I wish you nothing but the best on your continued success.

I had two this week and I'm absolutely stoked. In late October, I snapped the meniscus in my left knee and haven't been able to walk properly, kneel or straighten my knee since. I had surgery in December and during physical therapy this week, my therapist was able to break up some of the scar tissue. I can now walk normal,…

Always being cold. I've dealt with this most of my life, but after losing over 50 lbs of extra fluffy insulation, I found myself wearing a hoodie in August. :o
