Not sure if it counts as "successful" but if she gets constipated and stomach aches, it might reduce her appetite, so she doesn't feel hungry. I know that my appetite dropped when I was suffering from heavy constipation years ago

I can't say I'm happy about the reply :) since I dont seem to have the option of changing my language, but it's a clear answer that explains what I needed. Thank you

I have android version 12, MyfitnessPall version 21.15.0 If I go to more... I dont have a submenu "Plans" at all. My app is in Danish- is this missing from the app version?
-
Hello. I just found this challenge. Can I still join?
-
I cannot see it either - are "plans" only for premium members?

Do you select "lose 2 punds pr week?" that seems to fit with the 1000 calories below your tdee MFP shows.
-
I ate at maintenance + 200 kcal while breastfeeding (6 months) and lost all my pregnancy weight by that..I probably walked around 12000-15000 steps a day at that time
-
yes, if you open the app (I only know android) and go to nutrition, calories you can select to see for a week, a month or what ever you like
-
Thank you all for replying.

@TavistockToad that's a lot of dead links, and a lot of lifting. Is there one of them with a working link, and no lifting?
-
MFP is assuming you log your workouts, and eat back at least some of the calories from your excercise. If you just do that, you get more calories on the days you train more.
-
Find a type of exercise YOU like if you want to become more active. I really relax when walking, so I do that a lot..while listening to audiobooks :)
-
I've done it for a while now and really like it. It's not magic but it helps me manage my calories so I can reach my goal
-
@acpgee :) I love grilled, peeled paprikas...but it takes forever..especially as I eat most of them while making them. The marinated carrots look great - I'll certainly try those at some point
-
How do you correctly log "every single bite..." if you don't weigh it? You're probably eating more than you think, since we tend to underestimate food when guessing quantities. Look for the peanutbutter video to the difference between weighing and using volumes :)

Cant help but point to this tea diet :) https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10713228/lost-ten-kilos-with-tea-diet#latest

That's the headline in a ladies weekly magazine in Denmark every week. The last month I've noticed the "rye bread diet", "the gruel diet", "the keto diet", and "IF" of some form. People apparently always lose between 6 - 22 pounds in 4-14 days.
-
1: you can easily fit white bread into a healthy diet, as so many others have pointed out. Southern Europe eat a lot of it, and they are actually quite healthy 2: The color of the berad isn't really important. Some bakeries add barley or melasses to turn the bread brown. If you're concerned about the nutrients in the…

I've done IF for a year (the 5:2 version). It helps me stick to my calorie goal (as it balances out the weekend nicely), and I personally believes it has helped me get full on smaller portions. But I also know some people who get quite unwell after a few hours without food, so for them IF is a terrible idea. Imo you should…

No, you're not a bad mom for wanting to get fit. But, I also think part of his problem is WHEN you exercise. A couple of years ago my husband had a fulltime job 90 minutes away from where we lived, so I was always the one to take kids to daycare and pick them up. I felt like I was a bad employee because I was never able to…
-
Have you tried doing a version of IF for a week or so? it helped me see the difference between "I'm hungry and my belly is making noise" and "I feel like eating something to stay awake during this movie"
-
Thank you..that was he way of calculating I was looking for :) Thanks all who bothered to reply. For those who are curious. I started at 78 kg after new years eve, so it's taken me most of a year to drop 7,5 kg (and getting rid of the extra pounds after summer vacation). I'm content with this rate of loss...but I still…

It's just that I hate adding more uncertainty...I log all I eat...but a weekend where I have all meals created by other people makes it damn hard to guess the amounts:) that's why I like having the extra room for errors
-
yeah..the problem is, I dont know it it's 1200, 1100 or even less :)
-
I'm a bit jealous :) and VERY impressed

Good morning all. My second fastday for this week ( I try to get them out of the way fast). If @Meghan509 or @mamainthekitchen finds that recipe I may try it as well. My family aren't keen on lentins, but I'll make it for them by cooking a favourite another day
-
I think the newest from Mosley is that 800 cal/day is still a "fasting day". For weight loss it just means you'll lose a little bit slower - ( but it depends on the other days as well)
-
Thanks all. I'm not really limiting myself to baking - i have a tone of savory recipes using pumpkin (pumpkin and pasta being my favourite), but I have only 1 or 2 baking recipes. My daighter loves the roasted seeds as well, so we always make those
-
@xelsoo Thank you :) It's not that I dont want the spices....I just dont know what that spice mix contains. And it doesn't have to be particularly healthy either..I just hate wasting food, so I thought I would make soemthing of the pumpkin parts
