God what a horrible week. It all started with a cozy fall gift package with Oreos. I should have just thrown them out knowing I'd binge, but I thought, I can do this. I also should have just moved on and made that my only bad choice. Alter ego 5 Me 5

"It was me all along" was a good book. "Never binge again" was a good book. I'd even listen to it again to pick up what I missed.

Starting week 5 of Liift4. I'm really looking forward to shoulders this week as I know I will be increasing my weight for those presses. Last week my weights felt much lighter(but still challenging by the end)

I closed out week 4 of Beachbody's Liift4 program, did a little yoga, and walked 2.5 miles. Yesterday was shoulders, and I can tell I'm actually getting stronger. I'm looking forward to next week and seeing how I increase my weight.

You can do it! I was thinking about how I wanted to be, and I asked myself one night, will I be like this when I'm 40? That was a prime motivating thought for a while to stay in track for goals. Until I asked myself this, I just assumed I'd grow out of it. You do not just wake up one day changed, but with effort, overtime…

To do mainly regular pushups. Exercise: Beachbody programs + walking, running, & hiking. Right now, I do an intense workout 4 days a week.…

- Daily exercise even if it's a .5 mile walk or light yoga/stretching - Severely reduced alcohol intake starting in March 2020 (only drank 3 times so far) - Started walking more by walking places places (ex. CVS for a drink if I want one like a sparkling water, grocery shopping, UPS for silly amazon returns, etc.). -…

I just started doing my recomposition plan today and just started week 4 of Liift4. I spent last week with a slight increase in calories from my deficit and went from 117.4 to 119.4 lbs, and I took measuremeants. I wonder if I should have chosen a program that has longer lifts, but I think I'll still build a good base. I…

I'm just starting to switch into maintenance (I have gotten close a few times), so I haven't put this into practice, but I hope these few thoughts help. - I think about 1500 is my maintenance without exercise and I am sedatary (desk job, no kids, no clubs etc.). I think 1800 with my daily exercise. - take measurements. To…

Thank you. I've just glanced at the thread you linked and this will help. Also, my hips are not wide.

This makes sense. Thank you.

I have never had these, but now I need these in my life! Oh, I have a love-hate releationship with this thread.

- Cheez-It Twisterz, the hot wings one. These had such a nice kick to them. - Mountain Dew Supernove in cans - Tombstone's Hulapeno pizza, it was actually kind of spicy - Jalapeno bacon (I think it was like a name brand); it was actually spicy and one piece went a long way I am sure there are more that I cannot think of…

- Mukimamme (shelled edammame). I found this about a year ago. It is high fiber & high protein! *super filling - Beans in general (Chickpeas, black eyed peas, black, and pinto). I have recently (within the last 5 months) been trying to focus on consuming mainly plant based proteins for x# of days a week. I've been feeling…

I hadn't been including weekends, but keeping track of the days was just too much work. Me: 13 LNS:3 (I had a piece of cheese as a snack last night) So far my snacks have been within my calorie budget and healthy choices, but still counts as a late night snack.

I only had 1 beer on Sunday! Now for the easy part; the work week! 1 upside to working 2nd shift, it is easier to skip weekday drinks.

(2nd 1/2 was cut off)Oh well, a new week and a chance to start over. I know where I went wrong and will make the changes next time!
-
Well, I am irritated. Drank way too much yesterday. I even went over my calorie limit. Plus the scale didn't go down this week. Overall feeling disappointed and irritated. 2nd 1/2 below.

I totally know how you feel. I started a no Red Bull challenge as well, and it is not going well. I think I've refrained on 2 days  . Don't give up though, some dry days are better than none!
-
I agree. Although, once I got into a good routine, I found it easier. I "meal" prep my breakfast and lunch/dinner for work on Sunday. I find myself creating really basic, boring meals though because I don't want to go through the trouble of cooking a real dinner, prepping it for work, then cleaning everything. I also…

[Almost] Another successful work week of no beer; I just have to make it through Friday evening. My waist line, energy levels, and mood is thanking me. I have a new routine that I think is working well. Can't say I'm doing nearly as well with my Red Bull habit tho... Tomorrow is finally Saturday, and I can enjoy Henry's…

[ This house used to belong to my great grandma and it was rebuilt a few years ago but from what I've come to understand, the overall foundation could be better and my mom says not to risk using a pull up bar because she doesn't trust the sturdiness. I also wouldn't want it to damage these sheetrock walls. So, idk but I'll…
