  • Not recently, my youngest is 17. But I've had 3 full term pregnancies & my babies were all quite large with my daughter being the smallest at a birth weight of 7 lbs 14 oz; all delivered via c-section. I'm also of small stature-5'2, and overweight, I retained about 50% of the weight I gained with each pregnancy. So I have…
  • I have a Versa! Feel free to add me!
  • I'm getting around 70g now, so 80-110 is much more doable. Thanks everyone. :)
  • Calorie goal: 1400-1600 CW: 180 lbs GW: 135 lbs Right now I'm getting about 60-70g of protein per day. Sometimes more, but I never get even close to what these calculators, videos and articles I've run across.
  • According to both MFP and a few different online protein calculators I used, I should be getting in 167-171g per day.
  • Me! As of today I have 48 to lose-- I lost 36 lbs last summer, but gained it all back. And prior to that I lost 48 lbs in 2008 working with a personal trainer and logging my food. I gained back what I lost both times from gradually falling off from my workouts, walking and becoming more and more lax with my logging and…
  • I'm in! April start wt: April Goal wt: April 1: April 8: April 15: April 22: April 29:
  • likewise feel free to add me & I'm @luvjfox_xo on IG
  • I love egg white omelettes! With sauteed veggies and cheese...yummers. I've even turned them into brinners, using left over taco fillings or covering with a little left over spaghetti meat sauce & having a little sprinkle of mozzarella on top.
  • I lost 35 lbs this past spring and summer, and loved all the compliments I was getting, and it was pretty motivating for awhile. I have since gained the weight back because I stopped logging, using portion control, and even exercising too. Of course the compliments dwindled. I am now restarting, but my main focus is to…
  • Count me in! Just sent you a friend request. :)
  • I weigh/measure each ingredient and scan or enter each one manually, to add my recipes to MFP. I cook meals for 5 people who each get 2 servings per day (roughly). There's usually a little bit additional left over, but I figure saying 20 servings is fairly accurate. My rationale is if it makes a few extra servings then…
  • It can be hard to stay consistent. It gets easier once you make it a habit/part of your routine. If you have someone that can be your accountability buddy-to make sure you plan and log your meals, work out and get your weights in and recorded that helps. My cousin and I message each other to check in. Maybe meal prep in…
  • As others have said, either straight alcohol with no mixer or a diet mixer. At home I've done vodka cranberry with the Ocean Spray light cranberry juice. But here's something that was suggested to me by someone who successfully dropped some lbs: Vodka waters. Sounds gross but it's actually not bad on ice, and if you use an…
  • When I first got my Fitbit Versa my calories back would be pretty low (under 200). But lately I also have been getting a ton back. I have a 15,000 daily steps goal, and when I reach that I get anywhere from 500-800 calories back. This seems like way too much, so I'd also appreciate any light that anyone can shed on this.
  • yeah I have a Fitbit Versa and MFP is not playing nice with it today. Not syncing. Did sync once when I disconnected and reconnected the app from MFP. But then went back to not syncing. Boooooooooo!
  • let's be friends!
  • We eat rice several times per week and do not mind it plain since it's always to accompany a curry, stew or smothered dish, but sometimes to jazz it up I saute some chopped scallion in butter, then add the rice to that and saute for a few minutes, then throw the rice into the rice cooker with fresh thyme and some sea salt…

  • When I lost around 13 lbs I got my first tattoo. I'm planning to get another one at each 10 lbs milestone, because I have some catching up to do. I have 36 lbs left to lose, so at some point I may break down and throw a freebie in there, so that will be 4 tattoos. Those milestones will get me half way to where I want to…
  • I joined MFP in February after several failed weight loss attempts in the past. I've lost about 13 lbs so far, and the support and encouragement I've received here has really helped. I'll send you guys both friend requests. To add a friend, you click on the person to go to their profile, and there will be a button to click…
  • I picked up a Veggetti from Walmart for around $20 and sauteed my zucchini in a touch of olive oil and it came out great. It has multiple blade sizes.
  • I read this book "Strong Curves: A Woman's Guide to building a better Butt and Body" and only implemented a few things recommended so far, because I am still working on my follow through game-and I can say I lost inches all over my body-except I gained an inch around my butt. I'm definitely planning to work the whole…
  • Have you tried disconnecting anything else from MFP? Mine was also not syncing because my iphone was connected so MFP was using that for my activity instead.
  • I started with 50 lbs to lose-currently 36 lbs left until I reach maintenance. I am an emotional eater. I have started journaling to turn my focus inward instead of trying to fill the void with food. I joined MFP in late February. My diary is public. Feel free to add!
  • I'm 41, kinda new to MFP-joined in late Feb 2018. I'm 5'2, current weight 171.3 lbs. I've lost 13 lbs and have 36 lbs to go! My diary is public. Feel free to add me.
  • I hate beets. I hate when people interrupt others and talk over the person who actually had the floor-doesn't have to be me speaking; I just hate it in general.
  • I got mine on May 4th. So far I love it. I'm Jai Nicole if you'd like to friend me & do some challenges!
  • I only use ground turkey now. I do not quite agree that you can't tell it from ground beef-to me it has a lighter flavor and texture, but at the same time it's good. We use Jenny O brand.
  • I work 6pm-430am 4 days per week. I get my walk/jog in before work, and I do intermittent fasting-somewhat. I do not eat for the first couple of hours after waking up, and I do not eat the last 4-6 hours of my day (which is really night-but my waking hours). It's not a magic weight loss trick, just makes it easier to stay…
  • Try the Rx Bar -Chocolate Sea Salt- they're made with all natural chocolate and egg white proteins. Good stuff and a cure for the sweet tooth that also has 12g of protein. They aren't bad tasting like most protein bars, which I hate personally lol.
