I know from weight loss in the past I only lose on low everything diets so less calories makes sense. The main reason I love keto is bc I have no sugar cravings that were hard to control before and often led to over indulging. I do love the energy ketosis gives me too :) I am nervous to add carbs back in but I have to…

Forgot to add I'm 5'2 and 210 lbs. I do SL on MWF. Started back spin class on Tue/Thur this week

Thanks for your response! The premise of the keto diet is high fat, moderate protein and low carb. The moderate protein in bc excess gets converted to glucose. Like I said I really love the way I feel on keto but have to be realistic that after 6 months I've only lost 16 lbs. When you have a lot to lose it's not that…

I used to take phentermine but after awhile it made me angry and short fused. A woman in another group actually had a stroke while taking it. I'm sure that is the rare side effect but still. Someone mentioned cutting carbs and fasting. Both have been paramount in controlling food cravings/hunger for me. I am doing the…

Check out In Place of a Road Map group on here. It is your daily total calorie expenditure minus 20%. A lot of people have great success with it. Another good calorie calculator is http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ You can choose to include exercise calories or not. Some like to set it at sedentary…

I was never successful doing WW, I tend to overeat carbs as they are lower points. I was doing the ketogenic diet very well and will probably pick it up again. Not to be rude, but isn't MFP the easier, free alternative (same basic concept) to WW? It seems this site would really hurt WW business since it's the same premise…

I just had an unsuccessful attempt but I was very out of shape and lazy (idk if that matters). All my cs have been failure to progress and I am an extremely slow to dilate. I highly recommend you get the most experienced and well known (at hospital) doula that you can. I had a trainee doula and she was not helpful in a…

Oh and under cals too!

It was leg day and my squats haven't been low enough so I watched this awesome video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ME8gEN54Ao

I have an Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper and I love, love, love it! So much better than the bassinet I used before.

I am in this because April's was so awesome! Plus my capo and team are the best :)

I don't know what I would do either but I hope your baby is healthy and that further testing shows that. I can tell you that a dear friend of mine was told her baby had down's and she carried to term to find her baby did not have it. I know that is not the same as trisomy 18 but I thought it could give you hope :)

Sugar free oatmeal meatloaf, oven roasted broccoli and faux mashed potatoes. I went 14.4 miles in spin class today :)

*Sacrimoni* My kindness was taking care of my sick children (included vomit) while I was ill too. No jacks for me but I will be making up for it this week at the gym, I missed two days already from illness :(

Ugh, morning sickness from late morning until late afternoon. Anyone try the unisom/b6 combo? I'm thinking I need to try it.
-
I think it is prolly baby at this point esp if you are thin and don't have fluff, with my first I started showing at 16-20 weeks.

I was told that I can keep doing everything I was already doing (lifting heavy, spin, etc) but I would think that low impact like beginner yoga, walking, swimming would be ok for you to start now. I know it's hard to get moving when you feel pukey and tired! I forced myself all this week and I do feel a world better after…

BOOM! You look wonderful! Awesome to see your success :)

Hello peeps! My name is Tara and I'm a mom of three, soon to be four! I started the April challenge to help me get weight loss kicked up a notch and now I'm doing it to stay active and not let the preggo-lazies get me!.

I am obese according to my BMI. So far I have gained a cpl lbs even though I'm still working out and watching carbs and cals. I hope to have control over my gain this (4th) time bc in the past I really ballooned. Good luck to us!

I got a headache after spin/leg lifts the other day and chalked it up as just preggo headaches. Maybe it is from exercise? I do drink a lot while working out and breathe w/out holding breath so idk what could cause it. With my last two babies I was prescribed fioricet for migraines and I'm keeping hopeful that they won't…

As a general generalization, men under 5'10 are prone to short man's disease. I knew the story was going downhill when you said he was 5'5.

You actually look a lot younger, sad but most people look older when they lose a lot. So inspirational! Hope you are enjoying the results of all your hard work!

I love my team! Sacrimoni woohoo~

You can throw in the towel, or you can use to wipe the sweat from your face. It's a marathon, not a sprint. ~Sacrimoni~

Sacrimoni~ 3miles elliptical plus upper body lifts (military press, upright rows, bent over rows, dips, pull ups)

This site shows you how far you are every day with pictures. Kinda cool. http://www.pregnology.com/due-date.php

*Sacrimoni* A friend and I did spin class together then we did leg day (squats, lunges, deadlifts, leg press) She kicks my boot-ay!

If this is your first, you will probably really start showing in the second tri. In the beginning there is a lot of bloating and your bowels actually move to make room so that could be what you are experiencing. The ER dr was most likely accurate and if off at all just by days not weeks. If you are "fluffy" then it can be…

I have my calorie goal set at the lowest because I love adding in exercise calories and seeing the number go up. I usually eat half of them back at least. Then in my mind I have "banked" some cals for the weekend if I need. (Old WW theory lol) When I had my exercise cals factored in on my daily goal I usually went over.…
