NSV is reclaiming my old nsv’s. Lost a lot of progress over the winter with my rowing, back at it and finally have gotten to where I left off. Looking forward to what’s to come.

Lots of great advice here, that I will be trying myself. Also, when you go to your doctor, ask about hydroxyzine, it’s an antihistamine, but is used sometimes for sleep aid.

I row five times per week 15-45 minutes, daily walk 1-2.5 miles, strength train twice weekly, bike leisurely a few times per week. Down 30 pounds this year, probably would be more if I’d do a better job counting calories.

Oh man, I feel for you. Swapping a rower for a treadmill, ouch.

I know nothing but my vote is for a bulk. Looking great!

Technically a scale victory, but I’m a rebel so.... finally broke past my plateau and am under 200 for the first time in a couple years! Down almost 30 from a year ago, it had bounced all over the place for those two years, so finally I’ve seen steady progress for the last month. I am thrilled to bits. Nsv so I fit the…

Haven’t had a nsv in awhile as I’ve backslidden over the winter, but I’ve had a great week with eating finally. Nsv being that out to dinner for a party I ate half of what my normal fish dinner would be, and happily passed on dessert. Hope this feeling continues.

Let him sulk. Be kind to him. Keep his food out of your mouth. You could ask him to hide his junk food for awhile until you have done some self control, but if he doesn’t, it’s ultimately up to you what goes in your mouth.

From what my physician told my husband, he might lower it with exercise and losing weight/maintaining a healthy weight and if not successful he’ll be on the statin later. Sounds similar to you. It’s not the type of food you eat, just your actual weight. According to my physician.

Well if something else will keep mice out my boat let me know. It get old every spring haveing to replace all the wires in boat, trailer , ATV because winter nesting, eating wiring. Leave the rodents alone and they will make a lot of work for you. When you live in a rural area, near fields, rodents will overrun you. Adding…

I guess I should have said “ how can I count an 8 hour walk in the woods with two full five gallon pails?” Thanks everyone for your responses!

@giantrobot_powerlifting I’ve seen the posts you refer to as well, and as I do those things daily, I don’t consider them exercise. And they aren’t anything close to work. But since I only do the sap thing a few weeks per year outside of regular activity , I thought it may change my calorie requirements for the day. Forgive…

@AnnPT77 Thank you, I’ll do that. It’s not reflected in my activity level as i bounce between sedentary and lightly active.

That’s very encouraging, thanks for your input.

@MikePTY Unfortunately I do not have a fit bit. I’m just trying figure out how many calories to eat back with out overeating them back ( big problem for me) Maybe I’ll look into it, but probably not in my current budget :)

Also, it happens to be that some people are sick and are offended when they are congratulated on looking better when they are actually dying. A coworker lost a ton Of weight, we all hoorayed for her and with her, and turns out she had major liver disease and was dead in a few months.
