I've gotten back into weight lifting for the last month after about three years of being out of it. My body is already changing, including my waist getting smaller. My shirts are getting loose over my belly. Woot!!11

Before weight loss, I wore a size UK14 jeans. I recently tried on a size UK10 and they fit me 😱15

@Mexicangreensalsa Thank you! I figure, if I can find a way to make it fun (for me), then I will be more apt to stick with it. XD7

That I didn't eat any of the donuts in the office kitchen this morning. Nor eat any of the candy in dishes around the office.15

Finishing a half marathon last Sunday. Couldn't run 10 minutes straight 6 months ago.20

My fancy peacock pattern dress actually zips up. The skirt actually flares out instead of hugging my thighs.
I could actually even wear it... outside.
Also if I'm doing this properly, the measuring tape seems to say I've lost three inches around my waist.23 -

I bought some tops in size large today. When I started, I was a 2-3X17

My coworker asked if I got a work jacket in a larger size because mine was looking loose on me 🥰12

Day one met my macros.17

When I began losing at the end of Feb., I had a list of 5 clothing items that it was my goal to fit back into. Slowly I began fitting into each one of them, until there was only one left; a wetsuit I used to wear when ocean kayaking. Today I tried it on, and it fit perfectly again! Now my goal is to maintain this victory until winter, when I want to wear the wetsuit when kayaking on the lake I now live at. This past winter I couldn't kayak at all because I had nothing to protect me from the very chilly water in case of capsize.26

1,000 days logging. Nothing stopped me: not cruises, vacation, work, illness, business travel. Down 175 pounds, maintenance for 8 months.
Thank you MFP peeps. You have motivated and explained and cheered even when you didn’t know it.57 -
I have logged (with measurements even not just eyeballing) at least 95% of my food for the last three days. Even when I knew I was going over my calorie goal I logged the food. Although to be honest, this week I'm not worrying so much about the number so much as just getting back in the habit of measuring/logging17

I'm back on the wagon. I've logged for a week now, and gone to the gym 5 times. Someone posted this workout as their NSV a little while ago and I love it! https://www.drworkout.fitness/fat-loss-gym-workout-plan-for-women-12-week-program/
I have always liked doing weights, but knowing what weights to do was confusing, so I never did them. So this basic plan has really helped me get on track.9 -

That's the plan I just finished a couple weeks ago! I really enjoyed it! Good luck to you!! I definitely get more out of my gym time if I have a good plan of action!1 -

Added 10lbs to my deadlift over the last 2.5 mo—185. Starting to really see 200 as a feasible goal and not a total pipe dream. (I hit 165, got injured doing something else, took a year to make it back to that point. So happy to be making progress!)
ETA: just saw I hit 165 in 4/25, so I’ve added 20lbs over 2 months!12 -

Way to go!! I can't even fathom dead lifting that kind of weight right now. Maybe one day I'll get there too.4 -
NSV is reclaiming my old nsv’s. Lost a lot of progress over the winter with my rowing, back at it and finally have gotten to where I left off. Looking forward to what’s to come.16

I have worked out 6x per week for the past 2 weeks. I have consistently logged my food for 22 days. My average steps are 14 000 per day. I think I may be back on the horse!23

Here comes July 4, last year I was 190 lbs, this year !59, I remember that week hubby and I were eating out on vacation eating everything in sight! Food was my vacation. Today someone at the gym says I am glad to be back, lost 17 lbs, gained it all back and I could say I have done good this year, lost 30 lbs since last year! felt good! Now going to put on that new jean skirt I just bought!16

At my most recent doctor's appointment, she told me that whatever I was doing to keep doing it. All my blood work was great, I was down 10# since my last visit and my blood pressure was normal.
My migraines have improved drastically and I truly feel like a million bucks most days.
What I did was quit eating processed food and I gave up soda.
I do go "off track" once in awhile for a meal out, but it truly is once in awhile and for only one meal. I still avoid my food triggers even then.22 -
I just bought a new work-appropriate dress in the sale. Went online so that I could send the link to my mother to show her what it looks like.
It looks WAY better on me than it does on the model.28 -
My sweet, polite homeschooled oldest came home from soccer camp saying the older boys were insulting each other’s moms (I’m guessing “yo mama” jokes, which he’s never heard).. I asked what he did, and he said, “nothing, but I was ready! If they said anything about you, I was going to tell them my mom could deadlift more than their mom and could probably deadlift their dad. That’ll show them! I don’t think any of the other soccer moms can deadlift as much as you!” 😂😂 you tell them, son!

I had a goal to be able to wear all my shorts before the end of the summer. Today they all zip and button! Two pairs need a few more pounds before they’re appropriate for public wear, but there’s a lot of summer left!19

Best NSV for me was having my A1c go from 7.2 to 5.6. My doctor took me off the Metformin and 2 months later blood sugars are doing great. 😄21
