I cook indian food everyday. I haven't made lot of changes in my currying recipes. I am just counting calories as accurate as possible. Added protein and fibre supplement to meet my daily nutritional goal. Replaced wheat by buckwheat and white rice by brown rice.I lost 7 lbs so far.

After cooking i usually measure size of the cooked food. Then i divide the total weight by no. Of people. Then enter each person portion in the app to check nutrients. If looks appropriate to that meal then thats the serving. I am trying to lose weight, so if each person serving has lots of carbs. I will repeat above…

That is chart is helpful. On an average daily i miss 5 to 7 gms of required fibre. I will using supplements to cover those gms. Is there any particular time when we should avoid ingesting fiber supplements?

Hi, until today i wasn't using food scale. I used measuring cup instead. Yes i will till 4 weeks. Hopefully i will lose some pounds atleast.

Yes. Most of my suger comes from fruits. Initially I thought honey is good, but now I feel I should consider other suger substitutes.I have ordered zero calorie suger and will replace honey with that. Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts.

thank you everyone for insightful thoughts. I was initially thinking replacing my dinner with protein, but after reading your comments I have changed my mind. I may do it, if I feel more hungry. However, I will stick normal meal for dinner and meet my nutritional goals.
