I think she meant the posts at the to of the thread. 😁 HI! I am 55 and this is my return to MFP. Been here a couple of times. We have pretty similar heath issues. High blood pressure, premenopausal, slightly elevated cholesterol, and my blood sugar was just over the acceptable high line last doctor’s trip. Couple that with…

I’m back again too. And you’re right about having to be ready to do it. I’m 5’6”. Last time my start weight was 202 lbs. my highest weight ever. That was my motivator. My goal was 140. Same reason I’m back. Was at my highestest ever weight, joined and lost 47 pounds. Then quit. I’m back because I reached a new high. 😡

Looking to lose around 50 pounds myself. I’ve done it before. Want to make it stick this time. Friend request sent. Anyone else is free to add me.

Same here. This is like my 3rd time. Last time I lost the weight and stuck with it for a year then just quit. Don’t know why. Much harder to lose it this time. I’m older with a bad knee. 🙄 But I’m determined.

Feel free to add me. I’ve done this before and was successful. Back again and would love some buddies for accountability.

I’m the same. Been here put myself out there. One response. Last time I was on MFP you could easily making friends with out having to do groups and participate in their activities. You could make friends just by chatting with someone awhile. You didn’t have to have the same interests. Differences are a good thing.

I’m back for like the 5th time too. I’ve always had success with MFP but tend to stop after I reach my goal then gain it back. Hoping to make it a permanent lifestyle. Would love some friends for encouragement, motivation, and accountability.
