I strongly disagree. I was vegan for almost 9 years (whole food plant based) and vegetarian before that. I got very sick and felt miserable. I started eating meat and felt better in less than a month! All this plant based documentaries and commercials is propaganda. It's the newest fad and everyone is jumping on the train.…

Oatmeal, fruit, canned oysters and sardines are nice, portioned popcorn, and nuts

nope, but I don't recommend going vegan lol

Nope! I actually quit tracking everything all together and haven't logged for 2 months :) I am doing intuitive eating. (I eat whole natural foods and avoid added sugar and processed foods.) I am loving the freedom from feeling worried, paranoid, and bad all the time :) I am finally free from the shackles or worrying about…

Become more comfortable with my body and work on self esteem. I am recovering from trauma

That sounds like a terrible idea and only sets you up for disappointment and feeling like you need to conform to the clothes. The goal should be to be healthy, not a certain size. My goal is to be happy and healthy
-
I don't track calories or my weight at all anymore and I feel so good to get rid of those awful shackles! <3

My best advice is to not stress over calories and just eat whole natural foods. The foods your great grandma would recognize as food :) Worrying about calories and the scale is stressful and a waste of time. You stated that it makes you feel down. Throw off those calorie shackles and eat intuitively and healthily. Also go…

I am avoiding grains and personally never found the stuff very filling. Whenever I ate it, I was hungry shortly after. It seems to be working for others though, which is great :)

Maybe you are just burned out on it? I used to drink 6 cups a day and then one day just decided to stop cold turkey. I didn't touch the stuff for almost a year! Now I drink 1-3 cups a day. Sometimes I go a couple days without as well.

Past vegan here, and I don't count calories :) Potatoes, beans, rice, oats, homemade wheat bread, lentils, and other starches are staple foods.

The last time I eat is usually around 10:30-11pm

I don't have to lose weight or gain weight for a reward. I try to do things I like on a regular basis without "earning it". If I want a tasty treat, I eat it. If I want a new pair of shoes, I will get it. If there's an event I want to attend, I will be there. It's good to do things you like without having to feel like you…

I have struggled a lot with finding pants especially. My thighs are wider at the top than my waist, and I have large hips and thick thighs, but my upper body is smaller. I often get stretchy pants to help with this lol.

Chocolate ! I love it lol, but I don't have It too often. When I do, I let myself indulge and don't feel bad about it :)
-
Not really, I pay 20 ish dollars a month and haven't been to the gym in over 2 months! Just throwing money in the trash XD

What I mean by crap, is that it's skewed and biased. There are plenty of healthy people that eat animals and animal products. We evolved to eat them. It was a good laugh for me to watch. Especially the bit with penis measurement lmfao!

To OP, why are you trying to be vegan?
-
For me having a healthy snack after dinner is fine like wheaties or oatmeal and fruit or yogurt ect.... I am starting today November 9th :)

Whatever I want, because I don't count calories <3

I like the coffee from the chocolate emporium that you have to grind yourself. I use a pour-over and then add 1 tablespoon of heavy whipping cream. Since I can't always get that coffee, I do like to try to Aldi seasonal coffees and dunkin donuts vanilla cupcake coffee grounds are always a hit. I do the same 1T of heavy…

It's a heap of crap XD Vegan propaganda

Bison sirloin steak cooked in butter, mashed potatoes with butter and sour cream.

To OP: I often like to eat blueberries and cream or other berries with it. OR a hot cereal like oats with brown sugar and milk :) These offer nutrition. If I really want a few cookies or chocolate, I let myself have it and really enjoy it
-
I enjoy the Sugar Cookie Sleighride tea by Celestial Seasonings , I am also working on eating things when I want them :) A couple days I had a couple Kinder Bueno Bars and felt very satisfied after :) I don't eat a lot of chocolate, but I do my best to listen when I want something and to really enjoy it :) Also that smooth…
