  • Love this!!
  • I need/want to get back on track i got to goal weight several years ago and kept it off until one day when i fell off track and fell off hard. I’ve gained back more than half of what i lost so i now have about 20-22lbs to lose. I just can’t seem to get started again.
  • Love this! Thank you
  • So sorry for your struggle but this is for your health. Seems like you are in the right track so stay positive you deserve to be healthy
  • 37lbs down WOW what an amazing accomplishment!!! What i can tell you from experience is that nothing feels as good as reaching your goal. Keep looking forward eye on the prize if your progress slows down a bit and you start to feel discouraged don’t give up. Go to the supermarket and pick up a 25lb bag if rice and walk…
  • Mine is open (although lately it’s nothing to be proud of) hit someday I’m going to get back on track
  • Although i didn’t realize it at the time being fit and feeling good is everything. I fell off track about two year’s ago and I’m still struggling to get back. Trust me when i tell you no matter how unmotivated you feel right now push through it and keep going. This plateau although disappointing and at time’s un-motivating…
  • These are unusually high stress times we are living in and as you said sometimes just em venting helps. I unfortunately EAT lol but that’s why I’m back on MFP trying to get myself back on track. Please feel free to reach out anytime and know you are not alone there are many people here who want to help you. We’re in this…
  • Welcome! You are in the right place. I had much success and motivation from the great people on this sight. Unfortunately i fell off track but I’m back and trying to get back to a healthy lifestyle.
  • Please know you are not alone and please forgive yourself. You slipped up but you can’t beat yourself up over it and you can’t undo it none of us can. What we can do is be more conscious try to prepare meals and snacks and make time for ourselves. Trust me I’m not lecturing you I’m back here because after working hard,…
  • I’m an emotional eater and once i start eating i literally can’t stop. I have no magic answer for you as some days I’m literally driving the struggle bus. All we can do is try to make better choices take it one meal one snack on decision at a time and keep pushing forward. I know i can do it because I’ve done it before but…
  • I shouldn’t even respond because i haven’t worked out in so long But when i was working i found it was better to do it first thing in the morning. Setting the alarm even 15 minutes earlier than necessary is horrible however i got into a routine and once i was done i was done for the day and i didn’t have to rest is the day…
  • Congrats that’s awesome!!!
  • Congrats on your success! Sounds like you are on a great path. Sometimes our loved ones are not ready to accept the change or sometimes they don’t know how to support it which to me is why this app is so popular. Here we can reach out and be among people who truly understand what we are going through. Be proud of yourself…
  • @springlering62 so very sorry for your loss. Xo
  • Love this thank you! I am definitely going to try it.
  • I’m a self sabotager as well. No idea why. All we can do is take it one day at a time. When I’m on track i can be laser focused but when I’m off I’m out of control. All we can do is take it one day at a time and try to make better choices. Most of all be kind to yourself.
  • That’s amazing!! Congrats!! You have much to be proud of.
  • Day by day is the way to go. I’ve been off track for much too long and today is my day to start back and hopefully make some permanent lifestyle changes. We can do this!!
  • I’m no expert by any stretch of the imagination but I’m wondering if it could be water weight? If you are keeping in a calorie deficit but at least getting in your minimum calories it sounds like water weight. Whatever you do don’t give up. If you try taking in more Water and it doesn’t help maybe try looking at your food…
  • That’s amazing! I had great success as well with MFP but got off track and gained back more than half of what i lost. I started back today so your post is very timely so THANK YOU!! I’m hoping i can stay on track this time. Your post is very inspiring thank you!
  • Thank you! Same to you
  • Feel free to add me i haven’t figured out how to add friends yet lol
  • I wear a Fitbit and track my steps but i don’t have it linked to MFP. If i walk in the treadmill i add the time to my tracker but i don’t add the additional steps from my for it as i don’t want it to add additional calories for the day.
  • Good morning team weigh on this am 161 not what i hopes but i haven’t been 100% focused with my diet i have my 12 year old granddaughter here for a few days and we are having a blast but not eating too well.
  • I’m right there with you. Gained back Half if what i worked so hard to lose. The good news is we KNOW we CAN do it. Feel free to add me if i can help support you.
  • I would say start with one small change maybe swapping one unhealthy meal for a healthy meal or committing to 15 minutes of exercise small changes lead to big ones. It’s hard getting back on track so be patient with yourself and take it one decision one step at a time. You’ve got this!
  • I agree with AwesomeSquirrell using a scale to track success is a personal choice. If you are down 4 pant sizes that’s amazing and you should be so proud. If the scale could possibly discourage you than you don’t need it. Sounds like you are doing just fine the scale is only one measurement it’s not the be all end all.…
  • Hey team! Happy Wednesday hope everyone is doing well! I’m still over my daily calories each day but I’m logging what i eat and definitely eating f less junk food than i used to so I’m hoping for a small loss on Friday 🤞🏻
  • That’s awesome! I just started walking again (i do the treadmill) and it does feel good to break a sweat. Keep up the good work
