A very simple phrase that reminds me not to give up. Helps me keep focus. I wrote it down on a piece of paper and it's ony door so I can see and remind myself every time I walk out the door.

I lost my mom last week, after she was bedridden for many years from a combination of severe diabetes, sheer laziness, and refusal to do a damn thing to try to improve her situation.

I’ve never heard it spelled out, but your quote has been my mantra the past several years.

To paraphrase, Quality of life wins over quantity of life every time.
