I don't think any of my family is on here. My sister tracks her food on the fitbit app. I have a few real life friends but I don't think they use the forums. Probably better that way!

I usually eat rolled oats with protein powder and tinned fruit, grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato and onion relish, pasta with tinned tomatoes and cheese, pizza, fish and chips, turkish salads with mixed meat and chips, kfc, mcdonalds, hawaiian burgers and whopper burgers from burger king, frozen cokes, coke no sugar,…

Hi. I signed up for Weight Watchers 2 or 3 weeks ago. I tracked everyday and found it really discouraging. I was over 200 points some weeks. I have been making myself walk 4500 steps per day, which isn't many for me, but it felt sustainable. It's barely made any dent in the points I recieve. It's hard because theres food…

As an obese and unfit person, I don't like exercising. I have thought about getting a gym/pool membership, but I'm unsure of when it will be available with all the covid 19 lockdowns happening. I tried joining a netball team a while back, but they never got back to me, then covid hit. I'm not aware of any local sport going…

Walking is the type of exercise I do, and the more I do, the more I can eat. And people tell me that if I walk more, I will be able to run sooner or that I will achieve my goals sooner. I'm guessing I should find healthier food to eat, or a way to stretch out my calories so I don't need to move so much.

30% looks bigger than 35%?

I meant the fitbit doesn't sync to myfitnesspal until late in the day.

That is quite a lot! Way to go!

I've already failed my step goal. I might do an average of 10,000 steps per day, instead of actually doing that everyday.

Starting out at 117kg (I put on a few this week). Just wondering if setting my loss to .25kg on my profile page means my weightloss will be that slow. I have a lot of weight to lose and it's just so discouraging!

So it's not just me? thanks :-)
-
Thank you, that's very helpful :-) Congratulations on meeting your goal!

Oh, and what device works best with the website? what updates to the website the most often?

Thank you :-)

I've looked at the drinks and started to decrease the amount I have, and added some cold water to the teas so they use less milk calories. Last night I made a salad for lunch to have today, and it had eggs and tuna and lots of protein. I also had a protein shake with breakfast, and some fruit salad. It's halfway through…

Do you find it easier to lose weight with the exercise and the extra calories? Periods are funny. I wonder if that would affect me, I'm on the depo.

Goal is to walk 10,000 steps per day. Starting... today!

All food, no matter the healthiness of it.

I premade a salad for tomorrows lunch. Was thinking about putting aside some stuff for porridge and a protein shake for breakfast, but that was just a step too far, lols.

I deleted the majority of food off my food lists and manually entered them, to ensure I would have accurate food entries. Some of them are still wrong, but I picked entries that were a lot closer to being accurate. The main problems were the generic entries like fruit and veges, so I'm going to enter those now.

Is there a thread that is the opposite of this? I tried to start a thread to find out, but didn't get much response.

It's my birthday this month, so I'll be going out and having ribs :-) I already treated myself to a sleepover with snacks and a box of donuts. I'm hoping to be good for at least 30 days, or at least, stay within my calories. I kind of went off track today and had a chocolate drink and some sushi. I didn't track. I don't…

I've just had three days where I ate excessive calories, as an early treat for my birthday, so it should be interesting to see the weight come off. I haven't actually weighed myself though.
-
I've cut my walking back to one hour per day and set my loss to 0.25kg a week. Not very excited about it. Hoping the weight comes off a bit faster in the beginning.
-
I'm using a fitbit to track my steps.
-
My weight went from 117.5kg to 114.2kg in the first week with my loss set to .5kg (but I was overestimating some of the calories in my food because I didn't know how much I was eating), and this second week my weight is stuck at 115.5kg. I've been trying to walk everyday, 10,000 steps most days, a few days off, and did…

Saturday - Success (what have you accomplished; focus on the positive of the week, NSV=non scale victories) I have walked 20,000 steps for three days in a row, which is something I didn't know I could do. The positive of the week is I got to eat some delicious meals and have dinner at my friend's house and watch a movie. I…

Get down to 109kg by my birthday, then eat a kilo worth of treats :-)
