i have been on here 10 years, lost 40 lbs. One time I did gain 25 of it back after a bad flu and then did not log and ate everything in sight but got back with it and lost it again. So I love MFP, makes me accountable.

I overate the other night and felt awful. I know I have quit eating and wait 20 minutes and I am full. I tell myself if I am not I can eat again but that usually doesnt happen.

i know with me I want what I want but if I go look at pictures, that usually wakes me up. And there is this girl on fb that lost 200 lbs and she looks so good and her before pictures makes her look fat and sad. This also wakes me up, she is such an inspiration and looks like a different person.

I bought me a pencil tree and sitting beside it and looking outside at all the neighbors lights gives me much joy. Eating a couple of halos, yum., love those things. Sometimes having some 50 cal hot choc to warm up. I forgot about sitting on a heating pad as someone mentioned, love that and read.

very inspirational, I weigh every morning also, some people dont think that is healthy but whatever works , I have kept 40 lbs off for 10 years. I still want to eat a lot and the wrong kinds of foods but I dont because I dont want the consequences.

I got down to 156 one time, now in the 160's, happy to be there, better than 208 I once weighed.

I do this often then have to have a light dinner like hard boiled egg and cheese or soup or bacon on low fat carb bread or scrambled eggs on low carb flat bread, maybe tuna if it is hot weather.

such a good feeling, I remember when I hit 199. 208 was my starting weight, I felt terrible, I got down to 156 but could not maintain that, anything in 160s is fine with me.

I got 40 lbs off 4 years ago, I am 69. I have had weight problems since I was 16. I have lost 20 to 40 lbs over and over, but this app really helps.

wow over 100 lbs, why do you think you gained the weight. I probably would have done the same but I had parents that gave me a hard time, humiliated me so I was afraid to, I gained 40 that I had to lose. Congrats, quite an accomplishment!

you can do it, Iost 40 lbs 10 years ago and 4 years ago I had gained back 30 of it. I got determined to lose it and watched my calories and my carbs never going over 100 and lost it. I know it was depressing gaining it back.

i tell myself I am not eating at night and it usually works, if not I eat a piece of meat or cheese, or yogurt. Maybe you could try that if you are determined to eat, just not cereal.

my neighbor bought me over a fitted coat to see if I could wear it, fit great! They were too big to wear it so I got it.

this is my 2nd Xmas that I didnt gain weight, Yea. I use to put on 7-8 lbs this time of year but I backed off sugar cookies and other sweets. Felt good I could wear my jeans.
