I weigh everyday, but only record on Thursdays, gain or loss, it gets updated.

Ditto. I don't count on the weekends, but I don't eat an entire cake either. I allow myself little bits of what I want then go back on plan on Monday.

I agree with this, IF you can't handle the weight fluctuations I weigh daily but I know the only one that matters is my official weigh in day since that's the one that I record. Some people can't weigh daily. If they see a fluctuation up they become discouraged and completely go off plan, which just makes things worse.…

Nah, it's one day. If anything I'll only gain 1-2lb, or not lose that week. If I can't handle Thanksgiving this year what am I going to do, skip it for the rest of my life? haha! Ditto. I weigh everyday to remind me why I'm not going to Wendy's for lunch, or Sonic for breakfast. The only weight that I record is when I weigh on Thursday. It's what works for me but YMMV.

Buy them one at a time! If you want chocolate buy one of the Lindor chocolates. This. Plus I find I can get more filling food for less $$ by bringing my lunch. Although I do keep two frozen meals on hand for emergencies (a.k.a. when I'm feeling too lazy to cook, lol).

I have a sandwich: 2 egg whites 2 slices of Sara Lee Low Cal bread 2 pieces of turkey bacon 190 calories That keeps me full until lunch, but lunch is only 3 hours away for me. How long do you go from one meal to the next?

I do the exact same thing. If you're worried about getting hungry later in the night and eating the second portion, I stick mine in the freezer. Then it's a lot of extra effort to eat what I've saved.

I went three weeks without an ounce lost, then all the sudden this last week I've lost 6lb. Don't give up! Your body is just adjusting.

I think her doctor should be reviewed for saying she doesn't have a mental problem. If he had a patient that was starving themselves down to 60lb would he say they didn't have mental problems too?

What has helped me increase my water intake is to take a HUGE swallow every time I think about eating junk food. I was up to 86 oz at one point haha!

Hi all! I started at 232, current is 220 and my goal weight is 170. I've been there before and that seemed to be a good weight for me. Who knows, I may want to surpass it this time, but I'll cross that bridge when it says 170 on the scale!

I just did that this morning with a bagel I wanted to eat. Since I have my menu planned out for the day I realized I would have to start eliminating a lot of other things just to make up the difference. Turns out the bagel wasn't worth it so I stuck to my planned breakfast!
