Totally phenomenal. What sort of a training regimen are you on? Also, your American friends might be interested to know that this is a 140 pound loss! How long have you been on this journey? Well done, and well earned

Spitballing, I'd say you're looking at around a grand with the two items, your gnudi and jelly dessert. Give or take ~200 cals. But that's just guessing. http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calories.asp?recipe=442730

Others have given great ideas. Beans and grains, though I don't think you should be overly concerned about protein. Falafel, hummus and other beans plus grains at every meal and you'll do fine. Btw, I applaud your vegetarianism for ethical reasons, however, I'd argue that eggs or the hens they came from are probably the…

Diet is most important... then whatever you prefer to do.

The Compassionate Cook by PeTA is a good cookbook. This guide has a few good ones. And some more.

Just eyeballin', but that looks like way less than 1800 calories for the day. Me thinks you need to accurately weight and measure everything. Unless you're pouring on the oil, I don't see how that's 1800 cals.

Only if I could lose weight so that my pants were loose ;)

That's quite a strict nutritional plan. Something you might do if you were bodybuilding and looking to cut. Listen, you can lose weight so long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. Eat what you want but be sure to weight and measure and log everything. The point with MFP is you're trying to develop a new lifestyle that…

Nonsense. Not for men. To the OP, you'll get down to single digits the same way you lose weight generally, by eating less calories than you burn. But, getting that low should be done more slowly i.e. 0.5lb a week, and you might want to eat healthier and weight train to keep muscle loss at a minimum. But it's not rocket…

The reason there are differences of opinion is because the RDA hasn't been established yet. But it looks like you're on the right track. http://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/omega-3-fatty-acids-fish-oil-alpha-linolenic-acid/dosing/hrb-20059372

Unfortunately friend, you can't change someone else, you can only help them change themselves. Perhaps she's just not ready yet?

Firstly, you're comparing a broscience blogger with a medical doctor. I'd stick to one source for a start and then check out the actual studies that are being reviewed. Protein is good and necessary, though animal protein has it's problems. http://nutritionfacts.org/topics/animal-protein Plant protein is preferred:…

Not sure if this is a serious question or who you're asking, but I'll bite. I enjoy a third cup of dry oatmeal (cooked with water) with blueberries and flax seed for less than 200 cals and I'm very satisfied. But to each his own. If you want to eat eggs, I don't care, but folks shouldn't be fooling themselves into thinking…

Good for you. I was gonna link to same, but I find folks here by and large just love to hear good things about their bad habits. I got a lot of snark last time I posted a contrarian idea about dairy. But I'm with you, eggs will ruin your health long term.

In some sensitive people too much fruit can raise triglycerides. But that's generally eating a lot of fruit if not only fruit several pieces a day. You seem fine to me. https://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2003nl/030100putamingelevatedtriglycerides.htm

Well, at your height, 275 gives you a BMI of 32.6 which is considered obese. Sorry, I didn't make the rules :( A weight of 210 at your height just puts you in the healthy range with a BMI of 24.9 I'd aim for around 210 to 225 if I were you. Now I know people are gonna moan about BMI not being applicable to everyone and…

I'd say: moderate/lightly active.

No, I don't think so. But if you like them and they fit within your calorie allowance then go for it. But I don't think they're much better than candy.
