  • I have lost about 61lbs since the beginning of the year and my ultimate goal is around 125. I'm not sure where I will end up but I have a feeling it will be around there.
  • Me too! It's like there is this line that slims starting at my obliques and then moves in as I lose weight. Weirdest thing ever.
  • You look amazing! I LOVE your hair color!
  • I think we are to do them for 3 weeks (weeks 11-13) but I am bored with workouts 11 and 12 and will probably call it a day after tomorrows cardio 3 session. I'm starting Ripped in 30 on Monday to take a little break before starting body rev again.
in Week 13? Comment by DMRN0125 April 2013
  • Friend me too! I am on week 6 right now (workouts 5 and 6) and I am loving it! Although, workout 5 is my arch nemesis.
  • I am currently on week 3 and have lost 7.7 lbs so far, not following her meal plan. I might extend phase 1 by one week and do workouts 3 and 4 for an extra week because I want to get through them a little easier than I am before Phase 2 sets in.
  • 26 with about 100lbs to lose... Feel free to add me!
  • I do Yoga Meltdown twice a week. It usually coincides with the cardio days, and I end up doing additional cardio 2-3 times per week. It has worked really well so far. (granted, I just started week 3). Hope this helps!
  • Congratulations!!! No achievement is ever minimal...you stuck to it and have reached your first milestone. More importantly, your organs are much happier I am sure =)
  • I am restarting on the 9th. I started a few weeks ago but had to have a procedure on my elbow that took me out of the game for 1.5 weeks....Looking forward to Monday!!!!
  • For me it depends on how I feel. If I am starving, I will allow myself to eat back 50% of my exercise calories and on days when I am full and content, I don't. I think the most important thing is to listen to how your body responds to the program.
  • If your looking for high calorie, low in sugar, be careful that its not laden with tons of artificial sugars. I know a friend at the gym who drinks these regularly when hes running late and wont have access to cold water to make a protein shake.…
  • I think for the most part everybody uses a HRM and logs it as cardio and inputs how many calories burned. I know some use the Body Media bands to record calories burned and then others simply record it as circuit training. Hope this helps!
  • Here is an interesting study that was conducted at the University of Tennessee.. http://www.ux1.eiu.edu/~cfje/5700/PolarWatch-study-MSSE.pdf Basically, they found that the Polar Heart Rate Monitor that they tested, slightly overestimated calorie burn when compared to true calorie expenditure. Its an interesting read…
  • Workout 2 is in the books. I burned 238 calories and I found it just as engaging as workout 1. I didnt find myself bored or wishing for it to be over already so thats good. For the past week I have been experiencing mild ankle pain so I am a little nervous about cardio tonight. I might just go for a long walk instead of…
  • If the planks are too difficult, I would modify them. You can either drop to your knees or support yourself on your forearms instead of just your palms. I think the point of doing the two a day workouts is to lose more weight the first week and to hook us on the program ;) But in all seriousness, I think it is ideal to…
  • For me personally, I burned 235 calories. I have over 100+ lbs to lose but I think the first time you complete the workout, its not at 110% because your watching the tv to see what comes next, etc. I find that once I do a workout a second time and have an idea of the flow of things, I burn a lot more calories. I'll let you…
  • Workout 1 is in the books!! I couldn't sleep last night either but after completing Workout 1 this morning, I think it was anxiousness..lol The workout was great. I felt challenged but not intimidated by the moves..my HRM says 235 calories burned. After grocery shopping and really looking at the kickstart diet, I decided…
  • Im not planning on doing the cardio 1 DVD as extra but I am planning on doing extra cardio a few days a week... I love spin too much to give it up and enjoy walking outside on the weekends. I think as long as you don't have any soreness from doing extra cardio, I dont see the harm..
  • I'm starting on Monday as well and am doing the Kickstart!
  • I'm planning on doing the Kickstart as well. I hope you feel better!
  • Ditto!! It is comfortable, accurate and isn't bulky!
  • I haven't received mine yet but I think I have my goals nailed down. 1- Stick with the plan for the full 90 days. 2- I would ideally like to hit Onederland at the end of the 90 days which would be about a 35lb loss. If i fall short I wont be upset, but it would be so motivational to follow through the entire program and…
  • Hey guys! We've made it over 10 days which means February 6th will be here before we know it. I have been traveling for work so eating out has been happening to often but I have been good about logging my food and getting as much exercise as possible. Im home this weekend and am looking forward to a BIG grocery shopping…
  • This weekend was a success!! I didnt work out as much as I would have liked to but I think my body was still run down from me being sick. I managed to sleep 12 hours one night and feel like a new person. I am feeling super motivated this week and it feels good! Have a great day everyone!
  • Everyone is doing so well! Let's keep it going through the weekend because thats always the hardest part of the week for me. To avoid falling off the wagon this weekend I am going to commit to do the following: 1- Grocery shop tonight so that the house is fully stocked with fresh yummy foods so I am not tempted to eat out…
  • So far so good ladies! I got my workout in yesterday, ate great and actually slept 9 hours. I caved and got on the scale today... I know I know....I am going to have my BF hide it from me that way I don't see it every time I walk in the garage. Any unexpected challenges so far?
  • the Back to Nature Stoneground Wheat Flax Crackers are delicious! They taste like a nuttier version of a Ritz cracker and are so much healthier.
  • Good idea with relisting our goals! How do you like P90X?? Its something I have been going back and forth on buying for a while.
