Really fasting or detoxing is unnecessary? Wow think again. With the western diet the way it is and how much toxins are put into the body, its something to seriously consider or at least looking into. Fasting and detoxing has done wonders for many sick people. Do the research, you will see. I am not advocating that you do…

Add me as a friend! I post most days and am starting to blog a bit. I am 43, live in Phoenix and am about 203 down from 245 last year. Still got a ways to go but I have come along way.

I am looking into the surgery and the physician recommended 600 calories a day. If you drink the right kind of protein shakes and foods, then you should get close to that amount.

Yes, I am grumpy Cat but I am a great motivator. I am looking for low carb friends! (Dog friendly people are welcomed as well).

At this point, you need to up your calorie count to 1400-1500. If you are burning that many calories a day, you are starving your body so its holding on to what it can. Try upping your calories for a week or two and then see where you are at in the weight loss area.

Remember one thing, no one is going to pay attention to you because they are busy doing their own thing. More than likely, no one is going to notice you.

That moved me to tears. I started my journey 3 months ago, slowly (and with a lot of sweat, soreness and tears) getting to the point where I can actually walk fast without worrying about my knees failing. I hope in two more months or less, I can actually run. I am a fat chick and proud. I have lost 29 lbs and have another…

I am like you, 1200 calorie diet and work out 6 times a week burning between 400 - 600 calories. I usually eat back most of my calories IF I am hungry. If I'm not, I won't. Listen to your body (not your emotions, peer pressure, etc), it will tell you what you need.

I'm down to my last 57 lbs. Would love to have you as a diet buddy.

Talk to your doctor about Phentramine.

I did it gradually. I stopped buying it for drinking at home (that saves a lot of money). I only ordered it when I went out to eat. After a while, I started ordering water or hot tea. It took a few months but I'm off all sodas completely. I buy items to flavor my water like powdered Propel or Crystal Light.

Sure you can be flexible so long as you don't over do it. The key here is discipline and control. I treat myself to a cheese burger or pizza every once in a while. So long as you eat well the rest of the time and exercise, you should be fine indulging your favorite "junk food" meals.

Just because you see it doesn't mean you have to eat it.

That is awesome news! Thank you for sharing that.

Anything salty, specifically potato chips... hence why I don't buy any at all.

Thank you! Took me forever to figure those things out. Reminds me that I need to play my brain games on Lumosity. I always get bored at work.

This is great advice. It is too hard to change many things at once. It's not fair to your body and your brain. I am eliminating is cheese this month. This means no pizza, cheeseburgers, etc. I am lactose intolerant and it makes sense to start with that. I have been substituting fries and chips with salad or fruit which has…

Between 2500 - 3000. Yes, no wonder I got to where I am today! Now, I am painfully aware of what I put in my mouth.
