Let's call this day 1 of round 2. I'll ease my way back into this.
-
I remind myself of this. "The only workout you'll regret, is the one you don't do" so then I get off my butt even if I don't want to and I work out. To this day, I've never once regretted it.
-
That used to happen to me when I first started working out. It would happen a lot doing cardio. I never found out why but it doesn't happen anymore.
-
Starbucks Tall Skinny Latte... Mmmmm! I'm trying really hard not to get one today. I tried not getting one yesterday and failed.
-
You are describing my life. I find that I don't have time for all that fooling around anymore. I don't want to waste 2-3 years with someone that will just end up hurting me when I could have spent those years travelling or focusing on myself and my job.
-
Oh yeah... One of the trainers. He's only 2 yrs older than I am and he's so hot. My friend said I should hit on him but I think that'd be a little inappropriate lol

Deleted.

Jump rope! It burns a lot of calories and it's fun.

I've been asking myself this question for about a month now. I started at 169.5lbs with a goal weight of 119. I'm at 142.5lbs now and I don't see myself losing another 20lbs without losing muscle mass. My trainer says I look 15-20lbs lighter since he last saw me a month ago (I don't always go to the same gym...) but I…

Canadian when I speak english and Quebecois when I speak french but I don't have a french accent when I speak english and I don't have an english accent when I speak french. Very confusing... my dad is American and my mom is Canadian so I'm a French-Canadian/English-American.

and I want a mini hippopotamus that eats potato chips and lives in my closet :)

Forgot to mention that if you give something small, it gives you more wiggle room for the next gift where as if you go with something big, you'll have to top it next time! :P
-
Something small (CD she likes, DVD, etc) but nothing over the top.
-
Egg whites!

Sorry if this is somewhat off topic but OMG I never knew Lulu had that "we made too much section"! This may be the best thing on earth! haha thanks!!

Have my student loans paid off by December 2012 so I can save up for a house in 2013!

Wow. I feel like I'm seriously overpaying for my gym membership but it's what works for me. Mine is 110$/month. They only offer circuit training type classes. Going to classes forces me to actually do something. I'd be lost in a "normal" gym. All that to say that 35.99$/month seems like a good deal! "Normal" gyms around…

Is it as bad as ordering a cheeseburger, fries and a bottle of water? If I'm already eating 500-700 calories, why would I go and add another 200-300 calories when I can easily cut those out?
-
At least he'll remember me..... right? hahahaa

If I saw a guy at the gym that was extremely fit, yes I'd assume he's getting a lot of girls which would most likely mean I'd never talk to him because I'd never have a shot. Example, two of the trainers at my gym are extremely fit and good looking. I do think they get a lot of girls. I don't know much about their…

I don't know is this would really qualify as "healthy" but I'm addicted to Luna bars. Whenever I crave chocolate, I have one of the Nutz Over Chocolate bars. Thank God I discovered the Minis or else those 180 calories were costing me. I try to justify it by saying it's better than a chocolate bar. I also eat A LOT of…

Hi! I'm Samantha. I did competitive figure skating for 16 years (age 4 to 20.. I'm 22 now). I registered this year to get back into it but haven't really found the time to go back. I realize now that figure skating was the best workout ever. Doing something you love while burning calories? Why not! I would use it again as…

I think the idea of gaining it back comes from this.. If you drink slim fast products or eat only 800 calories a day for a year and lose whatever amount of weight, you can't keep eating/drinking like that for the rest of your life which means you'll start eating more and different products which will then make you gain…

You would have to eat an excess of 3500 calories to gain 1 pound.
-
Hey! I'm 22 and I'm 2.5 lbs away from having lost 30lbs. Add me if you want to! :) Good luck with everything!

I think the issue some people (myself included) have with eating a bite or two is not being able to stop. If I don't have that chocolate cake in front of me, I won't think about it. If I don't have that 1 bite, I won't know how good it is. It's easier not to start than it is to stop once you've started. Just my personal…

Thanks so much everyone! Everything you've said will help. I really need to look at why I wanted to lose in the first place and focus on that. I had a healthy eating partner at home (I still live at home) which helped a lot but my mom is now in the philippines for the next month and a half and my dad doesn't eat healthy..…

Sometimes it's not about how much you eat but what you eat. When I first started two and a half months ago, I was told to stop eating anything that had white flour, white sugar or was packaged. Believe me, it was hard but it may have been one of the best things for me. Egg whites and fruit became my bestfriend. I'm not a…

I always eat the Danone Silhouette 0+ Fat Free Vanilla yogurt. Per 100g, it has 35 calories, 6g of Carbs, 3g of Sugar and 3g of protein. Almost all their flavours, if not all, have 35 calories and 3g of Sugar.

I'm one of those people that have a hard time getting to 1000 calories. I've never had an eating disorder. I just eat low-calorie foods. Here's a typical day: Breakfast (125 Calories) - 1/4 cup of egg whites, - 1 Slice of Weight Watchers Multigrain bread - Welch's Reduced Sugar Concord Jelly, 0.5 tbsp. Snack (55 Calories)…
