My wife and I just went through my clothes this past weekend. I got rid of my size 54 pants and can wear some size 48. I previously wore 56 and 58 pants. Weight has gone from 380+ to 316lbs.

I had arthroscopic knee surgery 8 months ago. They knocked me out. Dr. discovered a stress fracture that was causing more of the pain than the meniscus tear. Recovery was not too bad. My Dr. also provide photos of the stress fracture, the torn meniscus and the knee structure after his repairs. I will say the Dr. lied to…

A daily Aleve in the morning. My podiatrist also prescribed orthotics which I wear everyday. Losing weight will help ease the pain. Sorry I cannot be more help.

When the doctor said that I had to lose 100 lbs. before he would operate on my torn ligament in my knee. He lied and did the surgery when I had lost 30 lbs. So far I have lost almost 60 lbs. I am thankful for a lying doctor.

I calculate my mileage based on the distance it states I go. For example today, I went 4 miles in 15 minutes in the first set and 4 miles in 15 minutes in the second set or 8 miles in 30 minutes. This would mean 16 miles per hour. I hope that helps.

You might want to consider finding Overeaters Anonymous. This is a support group like Alcoholics Anonymous but can give you support when you feel like going on a binge.

Add strength training to the workout. MFP does not move the weight lifting up from the bottom of the exercise. You have to add the strength training. I have found that the calorie count is low, but it does add something in there.

I am 45 and have lost 42 pounds since July. It helps to record all the food that you consume. It shows you where the calories are and what you need to eat in moderation. Good luck and happy losing!
