I go a woman's gym HOWEVER, recently went to a Zumba Charity Event to help raise money to send 2 young men to a Martial Arts Competition in Italy. Lots of people there young and old, male and female, was a nice change and lots of fun doing Zumba with people who had never tried it before.

I read in one of Dr. Phil's book that some people are weight loss resistant an example would be if your thyroid isn't working properly (which was my case btw) and since I've been on medication for it the weight is FINALLY coming off. Not saying that's what's going on with you but something you might wanna check out, just…

I'm from Canada so not sure you can buy it where you live however it is called Open Nature, Rocky Mountain…

You might want to start by getting your thyroid checked....I was working out 3 times a week and swimming (deep water aquacise plus laps) for months and didn't lose any weight, come to find out I had thyroid issues and now that I'm on thyroid medication I'm finally starting to lose weight....only about 4 lbs a month but…

Awesome definition in your arms and abs. I'm basically doing the same things you did however I'm 20 years older and I've been at it for just about a year now. Also I quit smoking in 2005 after 33 years of smoking one and a half packs a day, so I know how hard it is to quit, so congrats!

This is what I was told to do: Zig zag. Instead of 1400 every day alternate the week from 1200 to 1600 so it's 1400 on AVERAGE this is supposedly a plateau breaker as well.

I'm not a runner either but started by running for a 1/2 block and then slowing down to a fast walk for the other 1/2 and kept doing that, it sure keeps your heart rate up.... and intervals are apparently the way to go according to a personal trainer that I spoke to. Practice makes perfect, as my mother use to say lol.…

Actually after having my third child I decided to try nursing the baby and I ended up thinner then before I got pregnant. I mean I had never looked that good ever! So... so much for peoples insults! I agree that the people who are closes to you are simply jealous.

Lots of strength training ..... push-ups; rotating plank; squats; lunges; working with a medicine ball etc.

I like the way they put it here! A woman weighing 150 pounds with 19% fat will look much smaller (and be much healthier) than a woman at 150 pounds with 35% fat. They weigh the same, yet the composition is different. Because muscle is more dense than fat the person with less fat and more muscle will look smaller.
