I have one and I use it every day. Mainly I do stepping on it. I love the scales (I don't own separate ones) and the way the calories burnt are worked out for you . . .

I'm a smoker , so I feel for you. Recently I purchased a herbal tobacco - that was actually quite good - I mixed it in with my standard tobacco and therefore was cutting my nicotine by half . . . Also when I once gave up smoking I went light jogging every day - the endomorphine (?) produced seemed to counteract the craving…

I think after the initial loss of about 5 lbs it gets a bit tougher. I don't buy any chocolates or biscuits and very little in the way of bread or potatoes when I go shopping - this helps a lot when I fancy a snack and search the cupboards ! !

i'm fairly new and i've found that i don't lose weight if i eat my exercise calories . . . but i imagine it's different for every one. I'm just adjusting according to results received. . . .

I found that I was eating more since I joined this site because before my body had been in 'starvation mode' for a long long time. Now I am eating properly and feel healthier. Maybe it's just taking time for your body to adjust ?
