THIS. Good luck with your surgery!!

Colon cleanse. Unnecessary and though it may do no harm, there is a lot more opportunity for it to do harm than there is to do any good (approximately 0% for the latter). BTW, You know what they say about anecdotal evidence.

No. "As far as I can tell I get everything I need but I might need an omega 3 supplement. " No.

I buy "no name" It's cheap. I have bought other brands (maybe Dairyland or Beatrice) and can't say I've ever noticed any difference among any of them!

I prefer it by itself, sometimes with pepper. If you don't like it, you can always cook it into something. When I have too much to eat, I make it into oatmeal cottage cheese pancakes. You'd never know it's in there! I love it!

I log my vitamins. But it's just so I can monitor my vitamin intake better!

There is definitely a light! I' m not even sure when it happened, but it' s been awhile now, judging by the quality of my pants at the moment! Hang in there, ladies! And men. :)
-
Thank you. Makes pants much more affordable :)

I drew it myself! (lol) It's me. :D

http://shouldieatmyexercisecalories.com/ That said, If you're REALLY (ACTUALLY) not hungry, don't bother stuffing yourself.

Regarding the olive oil spray in a can...They are tricky buggers when labeling! Think of it this way: the can contains pure oil/fat. There are 9 calories in one gram of fat. This is fact. So how can that whole can have 0 calories? It doesn't. :( The way they make it sound calorie free is by adjusting the serving size until…

Have something that you like, and enjoy the birthday supper! One meal won't ruin it all. Splurge :)

How about pasta with sauces with veggies? Like tomato sauce, and process a few carrots in or something? Hmmm. It's tough! I don't eat as many veggies as I should, life goes on :) Also, sweet potato chips or fries? I like those... Otherwise, whole grains and lean meats and some fruit? No kraft dinner ;p I'll second hummus…

If you are exercising, you should eat back your exercise calories. This gives you the calorie deficit that you need according to the goal you set on MFP, but you won't be so hungry and feel like a failure. Also, if you're not losing at 1200 calories like the one above me said, you might need more calories. The weight will…

http://shouldieatmyexercisecalories.com/ If you are to eat just 1100 calories a day, and then you burn 400 calories by exercise.. you are ONLY REALLY EATING 700 calories! 700 calories is not enough to sustain your body. If you are eating a low number of calories and not eating back exercise calories, you are starving your…

I do both of these. Simultaneously. Works for me!! On cheat days, I don't eat THE WORLD. I might eat wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more calories than I should (I usually quit counting ;p) but I don't eat the whole box of ice cream. I might eat lunch. Have some ice cream. go out for supper. Eat a donut. Things like…

I definitely eat junk food. When I'm going to order something though, I usually have looked up what I plan on eating so I can make sure I can fit it in. I probably have 2 or sometimes even 3 "cheat days" a week.. meaning that I went wayyy over. Depends on my schedule and who I'm with, etc. My profile is set to lose…

The amount of pizza I probably eat in a year and a guinea pig or two? WOOOOOOOOOOO :D

Thanks everyone. Some good insight. :) I appreciate it! Of course I properly log my food, and i log my weight even when it's up (unless it's not weigh in day ;p).. Psychological safety net sounds about right! And after reading your many comments I decided it's probably ok. Unless it starts to be a problem. lol Maybe I will…

I do this too. Sometimes. Happy I'm not alone! :) This is a really good point I hadn't thought of! Thanks! This is why I was asking, I think this is a reason to log more accurately :D
-
Ahhhhh! I think I like this, I might just try it out. I try to weigh in once a week or so but I pretty much can't avoid the scale for more than a day or two anyways. Thanks for the idea :D

Ok so maybe the title was a tad misleading, but it looks like most? everyone didn't read the post? Or maybe I just didn't ask properly. I DO log everything I eat. It wasn't what I meant to ask but to elaborate, If I'm 2200 calories over, so be it. I also eat whatever I want to. I try to eat healthy/ier for sure, but I…

I got Exerbeat in the mail today! I played it for 45 minutes. It seems a lot like WiiFit, except it has a lot of things to unlock and just a lot more options/stuff to do. So far I really like it, I had a lot of fun with the zumba. I'd like to know if anyone with a HRM could let me know if it's calorie burn is accurate at…

I don't have much space and also have people living on all sides of me. I got a wii and I like wii fit (though I guess it gets a bit monotonous...) and Just Dance. If any dancing requires jumping or house shaking you can just make up a modification. This has been working really well for me as something I can do inside. Has…

I was thinking the baking soda might also be for that tiny bit of baking soda-y flavour? Maybe that's my imagination, though! For anyone who is a little scared of this recipe, the original *not sugar free* version can be found here: http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/05/23/want-to-eat-an-entire-bowl-of-cookie-dough/…

Wow! Thank you everyone for all your support and motivation :) It feels good, for sure. So, I actually don't really keep much junk food around. The downfall was I had 2 seperate people deliver me birthday cakes... o.o I'm pretty ok at keeping the junk out. But when it's here, I am terrible at control! I really don't get…
