Sweets really are an addiction! You body craves fats and such because of when we were hunters and gatherers. You brain gets a rush of dopramine to it after you eat one, just like a cigarette smoker gets after inhaling. The good news is once you break the habit, the cravings go away! That first bit is hard though, Good Luck!

I agree with Supercurly, don't skip a meal. Go to the gym, eat a lighter veggie heavy dinner, and drink a ton of water. The last thing you need is to retain water from the sodium also. What makes it a binge is the guilt, we all do it, do not sabotage yourself by dwelling on it. Today is one bump in what is going to be a…

Cookies, bread and other baked goods are good for 3 to 4 months. I bet your pancakes are the same. Banana nut sounds yummy, I made red velvet waffles for Easter and froze the left over for those.

Egg substitute for the eggs obviously and no sugar applesauce for the oil. It sounds great I love mandarin oranges.

I am pretty sure that your blood stream does not get more oxygen by drinking hydrogen peroxide. Mainly because it still has to make a trip through your stomach, kidneys, liver and such. I think your body would just expel the excess gas that happens when peroxide comes in contact with things. I know that with prolonged…

Hi, I am 5'3" my goal is 110, I was down to 106 this time last year and that was a little too skinny. I am an apple shape so it takes me a bit to get the weight out of the mid section!

I also count them because they contain calories. I could eat 8 pounds of lettuce and would still gain wait because 2000 calories of lettuce is still 2000 calories. Fruit has crazy calories! Good luck!

You poor thing! Can you eat melon? I can do without the citrus and such if I could eat melon. Maybe the extra water that they contain could help. I had my gallbladder taken out a couple years ago. Some people are fine and can eat anything they want after their surgery, unfortunately I am not that person. I can not handle…

You don't see your brother often, go out and have a good time! Just use some common sense, grilled chicken, fish, veggies and such. If you do order a small steak ask them not to dip it in butter. All the chain restaurants do it to help flavor. Stay away from alcohol.

Hi! Welcome! Good Luck with your journey! I love MFP, I lost all of my weight then couldn't keep it off either, so here I am bad. Health issues make everything more difficult for sure, but you did it once you can do it again. I bet the pool is going to be your best friend.

When I was in the Army we were told that for shin splints: 1. Drink water!! (in the Army water fixes everything!) 2. Make sure your shoes are properly fitted and replaced every 4 to 6 months. 3. Make sure your laces are tight enough. Not sure how accurate any of this truly is, but I did make it through 6 years and easily…

I have a trek hybrid that I am currently using, I got it from a friend who is an avid cyclist. It was her starter bike. I love it! To save your knee you really need to go and get your bike fitted by a professional. Having the height adjusted properly will make or break you! Also start with lower miles and build up so the…
