Your weight fluctuates from day to day, so im not sure this is really a good way to keep track. Once a week same time, same clothes, it works for me, as long as im good.

I myself run lots, but still fighting to lose some weight, ran the London Marathon in april and had lost around 14lbs. Now aiming to lose another 16lbs. Hard and hilly half marathon in september. Where is your marathon.
