ran 5 miles monday, MTD=102. Goal achieved!!!!!!

Ran 5 miles wed, 9 miles sat (10k race in morning and CRAZY 5k obstacle course in afternoon), and just got from sloooww 3 miler.....97 total for the month (hope I can find the time to squeeze in those last 3 miles to hit my goal)

7 miles today...MTD=80

I try to remember how I felt afterwards(guilt,shame,self-anger) and use it as motivation the next time that I'm tempted. That being said, don't ever get too hard on yourself and remember this is a process...it took time to put the weight on, it's gonna take time to get it off.

I was showing my 12yr old son my Van Halen collection on (yikes) cassette. 1rst thing was "what's this Dad?" next was can you play song number 4...sure, it's gonna be a minute or 2!

First, you should be so proud of all the work you put in to get to this point! That's AWESOME! Tonight, just try to get rest, have a good quality carb based meal(pasta,quinoa,rice,etc.), and be sure to layout what you'll need tommorow. Best of luck! You'll do fine I'm sure!

As much as I hate them, a treadmill (aka dreadmill). Takes away any excuse for not running (weather, gyms too far, something on tv wanting to see,etc.)

This one looks like a lot of fun! I've done warrior dash twice and will be doing rugged maniac on oct 27th. Just have fun, take your time and enjoy the experience!

I'd love to be counted in this month! I'm going to try to get in 3 or 4 races and I'll set a goal of 100 miles for the month! Good luck everyone!

I've done it and it's a great progam that really does work! Don't get too discouraged ... if you need to redo a level,that's ok! just stick to it! You can do it!
