7.9 miles today. Normally when I go running I carry a 50 ml water bottle in my hand as I run. Today I decided to leave it at this one spot and just have a sip of water every time I ran past it. I don't understand why, but not having it in my hand as I ran shaved about 1 min of my average km. How did that happen?

    exercise.png

WOW! that's quite the pick up! :-) i wonder if this will be a trend or if you just had a fantastic running day?! :-) keep us posted!

7.7 miles today. I left the bottle today as well, and my ran about 50 sec fast per km than my normal pace. This is fascinating, I wonder if it'll be the same during tomorrows cross country run? Stay tuned...=)

INteresting, could be less weight? or perhaps your focus shifts more to form while running?

@Cooriander Interesting to see the graph of your run. Might have to charge up the 'ol laptop so I can utilize my own Garmin again.

Yeah I love seeing the maps, elevation and pace over the course of the run.

First check in this month -
I managed 18 miles while on vacation. At 7 laps per mile, thats a lot of laps, luckily, I had some awesome scenery to keep me distracted. and 3 since I have been home for a total of 21 miles.

Don't think I will be hitting my goal this month. Since I decided to pick up a half marathon right on the brink of beginning my full training again, I am keeping my mileage a little lower, and focusing a bit more on speedwork until after I run it in 2 weeks. This will be the first time not hitting my goal, but the next several months I will for sure. Having a mileage goal can be super motivational, but for someone like me, it is hard to be okay with not hitting it. I'm going to have to fight the urge to put the extra miles in, lol.

It is common for goals to change. Do you want to change your goal to make sure you don't go beyond where you want to be? :flowerforyou:
