I have the same problem. I think it has to do with a drop in blood sugar, that sets off cravings. You might try grabbing something that provides a slow release of sugar an hour or so before you usually get cravings. Protein foods, like nuts, eggs, or even cheese might help to carry you over that time.

It is SO not okay. I cannot believe the amount of women who tolerate any kind of porn addiction to compete with them in their marriage. These are not only "real" outside relationships, they are deviant outside relationships with women who have deviant sexual tendencies as well. Can you see this leading anywhere good? I…

Thanks, CB. I am going to try this one.

I am a home-schooling mom, so I am pretty biased, but older grades in school are pretty much a joke. School at this age is geared toward employment, and usually not quality employment. Public education was intially founded by manufacturing giants such as FORD, in partnership with governments who recieved their financial…

 Again, thanks to all of you. I have been doing these videos, which are great starter ones: One mile walk 1-minute toning exercises Pilates for Wimps (excellent) 10 minute solution - toning and Keeping Fit in your 50's - Flexibility (I'm not 50, but that's how unflexible I am, sigh:blushing: Again, thanks everyone.…

Also a great idea, but I am alergic to chlorine, so swimming pools are out. Good idea, though:smile:

hahah... your mom...hahaha... way to make me feel old:wink: Just kidding:smile: Actually, I started with the one mile walk, and you're right, I have been enjoying it. Very, very light to do, even for the uncoordinated such as myself. I think I am ready now to graduate to the two mile:heart: Thanks:smile:

The knee support thing is a great idea. I may look into that. So far I am not having problems, except trying to do squats - I can't seem to get my bum back far enough, so I tend to over-extend my knees. Thanks for the idea:heart:

Thanks, I will take a look for the Beachbody ones:smile:

It's probably the cooking time. Brussels, like cabbage, vary a lot in taste depending on how long they are cooked. I would try steaming (or boiling) them just until a fork can be pushed through. If you cook them too long, they get a bitter taste, like over-cooked cabbage.

Eat bananas. They are a great source of potassium. Put them in smoothies, if you like:smile:

Hahah...Yes, I have read that book too. Sounds like we are twins, Kristi. How about, "I heard the Owl Call my Name"? There's another classic:wink:

:drinker: WTG:heart: It's hard to fight the blahs of depression, but exercise helps combat it, so good for you.

Apparently the Source, Lemon Parfait, freezes well, too.

No Kristi, not at all. I think the book left me profoundly changed, but I'm not sure I will ever be able to put my finger on why exactly. Part of it was the looking beyond the everyday to something more - the quest for spirituality that we all struggle with. There is a lot of philosophy and world view that I completely…

Hmmm... I was given JLS by my grandfather when I was a teen. I loved it, but then I loved my grandpa:heart: I liked Watership Down, too, but very sad. Reminds me of NIMH. Another great book with lots of touchpoints for discussion. But what did you take away from JLS, if anything?
-
Just curious... Who has read it? What did you think?

 Thanks FC:heart:

:flowerforyou: Welcome to MFP:smile: Hope you stick with it! Logging your food really works, but it is a lifestyle change:heart:

Mmmmm. Bumpin for later:smile:

Spring is out here on the west coast:wink: Crocuses are halfway up:flowerforyou: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

I haven't seen it. What's it about?

:flowerforyou: Welcome:smile:

:flowerforyou: Thanks FC. Good info. Although wouldn't it be lovely if a quick walk in the park equalled a chocolate brownie? Sigh.

:flowerforyou: Welcome to MFP!

Great job. I am envious! I haven't done much today, but I did some good exercise yesterday. It is true, isn't it, that the more you do, the more you feel like doing it!
